Hey boo!…no don’t look behind you, YOU are boo 🤭🤣. Hold on, maybe I should have saved that intro for halloween! 🤔 Okay, you’ll be seeing that again one day 😂. Welcome to the blog on a day when I’m feeling chatty so a chatty blog post is what you’re gonna get and I hope you join in too because that’s what it’s all about! Let’s get talking!

Come on in to our cafe of the day and take a seat! It’s super cosy with lo-fi music playing, a relaxed sunset ambience and the drinks are on the house so order whatever you like 🫡. I’m having a chai latte but for the sake of our long-standing chat, I’m “having” coffee. What about you? ☕️

It is in this setting that our time together begins and I can’t help but blurt out an announcement….

If we were “having” coffee I would tell you I got interviewed by the lovely Poorwa over on their blog and I’m super grateful for the opportunity! 🥹 I would like to say a massive thank you to Poorwa, especially for triggering a reminiscent mood thinking back over blogging during covid. Poorwa has interviewed many bloggers on her At least, we did SOMETHING in lockdown series and I can remember a few of them from that time ✨️. You should definitely go check out Poorwa’s blog for a walk down memory lane!

If we were “having” coffee I would ask you if you had a hobby during lockdown? What was it and are you still enjoying it?

If we were “having” coffee I would share with you how I accidentally put 30 miles instead of 30km down on my fundraising page for the Irish Cancer Society! 🤣 It wouldn’t be me without something going wrong but I’m just going to keep trying and see how far I get with it! So far there have been a lot of days where I can’t walk but all I can do is my best and I’m determined to raise money for the charity! If we were “having” coffee I would ask you if you have any plants? I’m into succulents but I really want to get a Marimo moss ball!! 😍 My local garden centre has them and they are the cutest fluffy green moss balls floating in a jar of water. I was hypnotised by them the first time I saw them and have wanted one ever since! (It doesn’t take much 🤣).

If we were “having” coffee, while we are on the subject of plants I would tell you about my sisters vegetable garden and that she grew a heap of cabbage leafs (leaves? I’m not sure how to spell it!) and it’s just so neat, I’ve always wanted to be self-sufficient and live off the land 🤣. Aside from veg, she’s also growing strawberries and loads of flowers – ask her what a flower is and she’ll know the name! 🤯 I think she gets it from our nana who loved gardening! Me? I grew mung beans microgreens and they went off as I didnt eat them in time ✌️😂.

If we were “having” coffee I would tell you that I accidentally just typed out if we were having water 🤣. I would hope we are! Don’t wanna be getting dehydrated out here 🙌🤣.

If we were “having” coffee I would definitely say how in the mood for reading I have been lately and a huge part of that is because of my friends Meghan and Misty and their blogs (Whimsically Meghan & Misty’s Book Space) which showcase a dedication to reading/love for it and put different books on my radar! These two are the reason behind my bursting TBR (as soon as I see a book that sounds good I’ll go save it on amazon 😂). I’m loving reading right now (also because of Pooja’s book – Perfect!) so thank you guys, you are heavily influencing me and bringing me back to one of my happy places 📚📚📚.

If we were “having” coffee I would ask you if you watch The Real Housewives? (Any franchise?). My sister and I are mad into them and are currently watching Sidney and Rhode Island! You can get me a Sonja cameo any day 🫡🤣 and….we met Luann last year! Another person I’d like to meet is Erika! Maybe I should share their last names but if you’re into it then you know!!

If we were “having” coffee I would tell you how excited I am for my mums birthday at the beginning of July! 🎂 She doesn’t dare to treat herself yet deserves it the most (isn’t that always the way!) and so I’m looking forward to creating moments we will treasure! (I can’t say what tho as she does see these posts every now and then so I cannot risk it! 🤫).

If we were “having” coffee I would say I went to see Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra with my dad as an early father’s day present and we had the best night together! I know I will remember it forever. We even packed snacks as we thought we’d be stuck in the carpark after but we made it out on time and had a mini picnic 🤣. I miss watching Jools on TV at new year but we don’t have the UK channels anymore so it’s filled up that minor loss within me! 🤏😂
