Meet The Library Diaries πŸ“š

Hello, hi and hey to the people who brighten my day! ☺️ How are you doing? It’s no secret that I have a YouTube channel but there’s something I don’t think I’ve mentioned here on my blog yet….the fact that I’m doing a library books ONLY challenge over there and sharing my journey through videos! 🎬

You can find my channel by clicking here!

Let this blog post be the lore of the library diaries! Okay so I just this second realised I may have accidentally not labeled one of my videos as being a part of the library diaries but we can’t change the past…well I could edit it but then what would I have to complain to you about? 😝🀣 I just won’t make the same mistake twice! Anyway, I started the library diaries, which you can watch the beginning of HERE, as it has always been my goal to finish all of the books I’ve got out for myself on my card, my dad’s card, my mum’s card and my sister’s card (yes I’ve got a problem πŸ™Œ) before I touch any of the books that I own.

I’ll admit, I did start my friend Pooja’s book, Perfect, but I couldn’t not do that, I was just too excited! πŸ˜‚ In my latest Library Diaries episode that I put up this week I admit I failed the challenge by doing this but then I went on to show you the library books I’m currently reading (Yep thats right, we’re gonna sweep our problems under the rug and carry on!).

I began the challenge with a total of 34 library books in my possession and if I’m not mistaken I have read 4 of them so far! πŸ₯³ We take all the wins we can get here 🀣. I enjoy reading library books, it’s something about them being worlds you can escape into for free and I’m also obsessed with my local app that let’s me reserve books and keep track of what I have. Long live libraries I say! 🫑

The library diaries began when I met a rather touchy librarian which I spoke about in the very first video and she motivated me to put a label on the adventure that was already taking place: the feat of finishing all of the library books I have out before I can get anymore for myself and I’m up for the challenge! πŸ‘ YouTube is kinda like the library I guess, it’s free and there’s so much you can do – I love them both so much! 🀣

I hope you’ll join me on this journey where I upload content regularly revolving around all things bookish! πŸ“š I also share other videos like day in the life’s and I’m working on one very similar to that for next week so stay tuned! πŸ‘€ Will I finish all the library books or will I fail at the next hurdle? 🀨 I guess we’ll just have to wait and see! 😏

Subscribe to my YouTube channel to follow along πŸ“Ή I post every week so alongside this blog, YouTube and daily motivational quotes I share as Instagram stories, there’s something for everyone who wants to feel a little cosy! ✨️

Well, well, well! We’ve reached that point in the post yet again 🫠. Parting is such sweet sorrow but is it really a goodbye when we can find eachother on so many other avenues? (ie. Youtube, Instagram ect). No, it’s not! I’ll see you there πŸ˜‰πŸ€£.

Do you make use of libraries? We went to a couple before settling on a fav! I think it’s places like these that add fun into the seriousness of things and yes I just said a library is fun, because it totally can be when books are your jam!

Right, I’mma go now, I’ve got some reading to do (I’m typing this before I sleep and as I’m trying to get into healthier habits, down the phone goes and out comes a book in hope that I’ll tire myself out! πŸ˜‚). Have you guys got any tips for getting to sleep earlier for someone who isn’t used to that? Let me know in the comments below! πŸ™

I hope you have a nice weekend and get to do something for you! I’ll see you soon, take care, stay safe (I’ve been saying that since covid-times and I still like to add it in! 🀣), buh-bye πŸŒŠπŸ’•
