Come see BTS in Paris with me!! 💜💜💜

Hi everyone!! Yep theres two exclamation marks today, I’m a whole mood 🤣 and for good reason, most recent of all I completed editing both this post & the accompanying video and before that? Well I may have left my comfort zone and traveled to Paris with my sister for our first ever concert overseas (1st time in Paris too!) and it wasn’t just any concert – it was BTS!!! ARMY unite 🥹✨️💜.

We were there for 2 nights (we went to the concert on the 17th July and gave ourselves the next day to explore and rest before coming back home to Ireland!). This is the post I’ve been working on alongside a video I will share more about in a moment! Thank you for your patience and support for me with this as you know the journey it took to get here (this post explains it). I can’t wait to tell you all about what led to me getting the cold 🤒🤣. I worked hard on this post + video and hope you enjoy them! There won’t be many pictures in this post which is what makes the video even more fun 😏. I can’t wait to relive this moment over and over again after this by coming back to this post 🥹 Let us begin…

I went to Paris with a busted lip as my sister accidentally dropped her phone on my face (she was trying to catch it mid air!), freak accidents be like 🙌🤣. I do question my luck but then good stuff happens and I can’t complain 🤨😂. I’m just grateful my glasses didn’t break!! We flew over on the day of the concert and met BTS fans (ARMY) at the airport and on the plane we started exchanging gifts early. My sister made loads of bracelets so it felt good giving as well as receiving gifts 😏🎁🤣.

We stayed at a hotel that was a 30 minute walk to the Stad De France and it’s been booked since January (we were so ready for this when BTS announced their tour –  next we just had to get the tickets which is explained in the next paragraph!!! 💜 There were time’s I doubted I could do it but we persevered and I got to try out my new glasses that are different from my usual pair – they helped me cope with the lights! 😎). Everything went smoothly, we got so many taxis and deliveroo orders, check out my youtube video for this trip linked again HERE (I’ve linked it a lot in this post, sue me 🤣) and you can see the concert & all the food I got + places we went (we didn’t get to see the Eiffel Tower but we didn’t plan to – maybe next time! And there will be a next time 💫💫💫).

I got the BTS tickets on Stubhub and I was so scared that the person selling them would commit ticket fraud and turn up before us but when the scanner turned green for us I breathed a huge sigh of relief!! As you can probably tell, I’m not writing about everything like getting ready and walking there, taxis around Paris + how the hotel let us in early and such but all I can say is that we had the best time and it felt so magical (wait…I just wrote about it 🙈🤣).

When BTS came out I realised I’d left my body, I can’t remember being in it but what I do know is that I felt super comfortable dancing and singing which never happens, I IS A SHY BEAN!! (well not as shy as I used to be). Being surrounded by ARMY brought me out of my shell and having my sister by my side, my safe space, we did it!! My sister can’t stop singing BTS now and I have an inkling that she is now ARMY too!!! She said it was the best concert she’s ever been to as well. I’m just so proud of us for doing this, I was so anxious and it feels like something that happens to other people…no thats something I used to say….now, it feels like the life WE are living, we are growing as people and I feel like we can handle anything within reason.

The concert was spectacular and I immediately want to see them again!! I had flare-ups of pain throughout the trip but I wouldn’t change anything because we have our memories. We met so many BTS fans and everybody was super nice, you honestly feel like you can be friends with any ARMY!!

Right, as BTS say: Life Goes On! Now I’m off to plan my dad’s birthday in a couple days and before that we’re going on a lil staycation for my sis as these last two trips have been for me so I wanted to do something for her! (My mums birthday was this month, dad’s is next month and my sisters birthdays are the month after, then I’m nice to everyone – I give them all a break until November for my birthday 😇🤣).

What about you, are you ARMY? Come say hi!! 👋 I’m still in disbelief that this happened but I’m super grateful that it did. Being back in Ireland feels right, it is good to be home. And the dogs didn’t hear me come in the back door, I totally surprised them!! And the cats crowded around my sister outside 🤣. Seeing my mum and dad, my body totally relaxed.

Ps, we stopped off at a pitstop on the way home to watch the World Cup halftime show and saw BTS again! Then at home we all watched Spain win!! 🏆🇪🇸🏆 I’m dog tired now, I think it will take a week or so to catch up and get life back on track but I’m where I’m meant to be ✨️ (this post was created all over the place with me typing both when I got home and more recently but we made it! 💃🤣).

I said I’m off to do birthday stuff and then I carried on talking 🙈🤣. Now I’m really going!!
