All over the place 🤪

Hi everyone! How are you doing on this rather spooky day? 👻 And, how has another week gone by?? I’m back at college on Monday, this week that just passed was reading week and it went so damn fast! 🤯 Today is Halloween and I may or may not carve a pumpkin later on! 🤔 I have one to myself and I know I’ll regret it if I don’t so my sis and I will probably make an evening of it! 🎃

Aside from the obvious, the main reason I called this a “spooky day” was because…well, let me paint you a picture, I’m laying in bed watching a crime documentary (when I really should be sleeping) and then it dawns on me that I haven’t typed out a blog post for you guys! 😅 This is actually so unlike me as I never normally forget to write for the blog. It was on my journal to do list for the day to have something ready and then it just slipped my mind. These last two days have been full, full of nice things like walking the dogs (Nina and Bella at your service 🐩🐕), being treated to a surprise trip to the cinema to see Wildwood as an early birthday present (it was BRILLIANT and I’d highly recommend it if you wanna fuel your mind and just sit with a massive grin on your face for 2 hours) and then yesterday I ran errands the majority of the morning before pain and tiredness just hit. I have no regrets tho, unlike how I’ll feel if I don’t get to carving a pumpkin tonight! 🤣🎃

This Wednesday just gone by I uploaded a Youtube short video about all the crochet things my sister has made me and they’re all super cute! I fit them under a “college” heading and I hope you find the video cosy if you choose to watch it HERE 🍿….should I be more pushy and make you watch it? I’m not in a persuasive mood right now, I’m just tired from going out and I’m kinda anxious about starting back at college next week if I’m being honest 🫤 (Gosh I’m throwing a lot at you today….don’t expect me to pay for this impromptu counseling session! 🤣).

I think I’m still settling in to the student routine and this has been my first proper break so when it’s time to go back I get a bit of stage fright because it still feels so foreign and I settle into the “not doing classes” phase very easily, this break showed that. Ooh I did submit my first assignment through the portal that the majority of my future ones will go through tho! (I’m nervous about if it will be okay but I did my best and worked hard on it – word counts will be the death of me…either that or referencing anyway 😂).

This post is all over the place but if theres two things you need to know then the first one is that my sister is a crochet conoseur as I mentioned in the video, don’t you forget it! And the second thing is that I may do a Wildwood theme for the pumpkin carving 😲. Okay, now I’m going to drink water because that was a LOT of talking!! 🤣💧

What about you? How’s school/work/life in general? Anybody stepping in and out of overwhelm like me and trying to pinpoint those moments you’re out of it so you can make them permanent?? 🫪

….on a nicer note, do you have any pumpkin recipe ideas? I want to make full use outta mine and I was gonna reprise my pumpkin pie recipe (can you believe that blogging post was from 2017!?) but I wanna try something different! 🎃 Throw those ideas down into the comments for me will ya?…okay I just looked back on that pie post and it lowkey looks GOOD, I may backtrack and just make it again. I’m too easily swayed 🤣.

I’ve gotta go now but you can expect another YouTube video from me on Wednesday and then I’ll be back here on the black next Saturday! 😉 These posts really do show me how fast a week goes by as it feels like I’m typing out these posts every day! 😂 Anyway, thank you for listening to my rambles and being a therapist of sorts! 😅 I wish you well and I hope you know that you can 99.9% handle this new week!
