I felt very crafty…not in a sneaky way tho: creatively! And I made her loads of super cool things + documented it all in a nice lil youtube short that you can watch HERE 🤩. I believe this video features loads of great gift ideas for loved ones and I hope you find something you adore! 🎁
Here are just some of the crafts featured:
From her own personalised journal to write about her big day to a 3D Rilakkuma calendar 🐻 (my mum has a thing for Rilakkuma after we watched Rilakkuma and Kaoru on Netflix year or so ago!). There are even easier things I made like an “I love you” wordsearch style canvas art and pop up cards, a lot of which are from Pinterest – I linked in the creators within the video.
I planned on also making stuff for my dads and sisters birthdays which were afterwards but I didn’t have any creative juice left in me 🫤…sounds ew but it’s true 😂 and now those days have passed. Next is my birthday and I’ve heard on the grapevine that my sister is crocheting me something 😏 but I gotta play it cool! 🫣
Anywho! For these crafts I used only supplies I had on hand after digging through my bedroom, including paper that I made back in 2021! I completely lost myself in the art and didn’t think of anything else, well I was imagining my mums reaction I will admit and that was simply marvellous in the end ☺️. Time well spent, I reckon! 🫡

I’m creative, but I suck at putting that energy into something useful 😂. I’m still struggling with blogging again, at least regularly and I miss writing those stories I used to do. Someday soon I hope it will all return. Really cute stuff you shared today! Thanks!
