A new WordPress feature I’m loving! 👍

Hi everyone! How are you? Thank you for the kind words on my last post where I mentioned I’ve been under the weather lately. I am still working on that video/post but today I thought I would share something else that has given me joy (other than you, not the flu! – hey, that rhymed! 🤣). Theres a WordPress feature that has been doing the rounds where it notifies you of all the posts you ever uploaded on this day, years ago 🫨.

It’s like a time capsule that tells you all the posts you’ve created in the past on a certain day. I’ll admit I don’t always read my old posts they notify me of but I love receiving the notification and it reminds me how extra consistent I used to be (the me of today could never 🤣). In total, as of today I have uploaded 811 blog posts since 2016 and naturally I can hardly name 10 off the top of my head 🤔 which is why these reminders of past years has been such a welcome surprise. It allows me moments to pause and reminisce whilst moving forward ✨️.

I’m typing this the day before I upload the post as I’m still not 100% and today’s memory of a blog post from the past is from the 31st July 2017 and features blog posts from others that I enjoyed that July 😍. I’d very much love to do those types of posts again one day, currently I’m really bad at keeping up with reading blog posts, even by my blogging friends. For that I apologise and hope that in the future I can make time to do this because I miss reading their words so darn much 💕.

I’m looking forward to seeing what I get reminded about, I feel like I’ve grown so much since the early years of this blog and for the better. I still have a love for doing this which I am grateful for and I just enjoy seeing snippets of the journey 💫. What will be posted next? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see! ☺️😉✨️
