Hi everyone! How are you? 💕 I found another prompt I want to answer! 🤣 First of all tho, I want to say a massive thank you for your support on my YouTube channel. It means a lot that you have taken time out of your day to check it out 🥹. I’ve really been enjoying myself having another outlet to share more and more things (such as how you can get free books if thats something you’re interested in? 🤭📚).
Last week there were two blog posts here on Elsielmc.com, this week there are two youtube videos in the form of shorts!! 🫨 What will I do next? I don’t know but I don’t want to jinx it so drop those expectations please 😅…wait, I only have them for myself 🤣. I’d love if you could watch my recent uploads/share your thoughts 💌. Anyway, I’ll stop talking about YouTube, let’s get on with the blog post! 😅😂
What are three objects you couldn’t live without?
Okay so family (including pets) and friends aren’t objects so I won’t include them! (Great starter 😅🤣). My Head Plan Journal is the first object I don’t think I could live without because I’ve gotten used to their guided way of journaling and that’s where I write my daily to do lists and tick them off as I go along. I’m on my third Head Plan journal (they last 6 months each) and I just love it so much! It feels like they hold a lot of magic because they house my hopes and dreams with vision boards and weekly goals ✨️. I’d highly recommend them (this isn’t an ad, I’m just fangirling my heart out 🤣). You can read my review of the first 6 months using The Head Plan journal HERE!
My phone – I know this sounds bad but hear me out! I can write blog posts on my phone, watch film and edit YouTube videos, learn languages, look up recipes, write notes and lists as well as feel motivated and inspired by those I follow on social media! 🥰 When the weather’s bad and our electricity goes + I have to save my phones battery it is possible for me to go without it but theres just so much you can do on a phone! 🥲🤣 I know doomscrolling is a thing and I want to actually create a video about that but I just don’t feel it that bad because my phone adds to my life, it isn’t my life.
My Bluetooth headphones – I love listening to podcasts when I go for walks and I also love walks so win win! 😂 I used to walk in silence and when the idea to listen to podcasts/music came into my head I knew I needed to make it happen and I haven’t looked back since! 🚶🏽♀️It’s so handy how your headphones can automatically connect just by switching them on and I wish I could remember what brand mine are but all you need to know is that I love them! 🤣 They’re cream and very stylish 😍. Right, that’s that.
What objects can you not live without? Pick 3 like me!
That was more difficult than I thought it would be! Picking my third and final item was tricky, like I could go without my headphones but not my phone or journal 😅.
I used to be quite dependent on items, I’d often write about it on this blog where I had items I thought were lucky charms and it doesn’t help that I am a hoarder like I showcased over on YouTube when tidying my creative space (aka my desk 😂) but over time I really have learned that things are just things. They’re not that important. Depending on what they are anyway 🫢 gotta be realistic here! 🤣
So! These are the 3 things I don’t think I could live without whilst I’m in my less dependent era 😜. I’ve gotta go now but this was super fun and made me really think + assess where I’m at compared to where I used to be! 🥹 You can find me in a multitude of places, on another blog post such as this one where I talk about how to make your vision board more effective, on Instagram where I share daily quotes and more of an insight into my life such as what I’m cooking (as you guys know I love to cook!) or over on YouTube! ❤️ Take your pick and I’ll see you there 💯.
As always I hope you have a lovely weekend, be spontaneous! ☺️ Take care, stay safe and buh-bye 😉✨️💕.
My phone was the first thing that I thought of too. I can do pretty much everything I do on a daily basis just using my phone. I guess the other two would be my phone charger and headphones. I would say books or journal but I guess I’ll just have to switch everything I vet to digital even though that wouldn’t be my choice.

I wish I could say I could live without my phone, but as you mentioned, it just holds everything! I have a stuffed Teddy bear (named Teddy 😆) that I can’t part with, I’ve had him since birth. I’m not sure what a third thing is though, maybe my journal since I write in it every day!

Aww I love that you have a teddy bear you treasure and to have had it since birth makes it more special, thats such a long time!! I have a bagpuss teddy my aunt got me when i was younger and I sleep with it every night. Can’t be without a journal! Do you have any tips for writing in it every day?

It really does make it so special! I love that you’ve got a teddy too that you cherish!
Honestly, the only thing I can say is write consistently and at the same time each day, that way it forms a habit. For me, I write in mine at the end of each day and it’s a nice way to wind down before bed. I’ve been doing that for so many years now that I can’t see myself not doing it!

Thank you for the tip!! I will start making it a habit at the end of the day – am looking forward to it 😄

My phone is probably my most used technology, it is so versatile that I have to agree on that one. Other than that, definitely a claw clip. I use it every day and with my curly, unruly hair I don’t know if I could go even a week without one. Lastly, house slippers because I have sensory issues when it comes to any gritty textures on my concrete floors, and I cannot sweep every time I feel a speck. I would go crazy I think haha.
I feel like my list is so boring lol, but I use all three items every day so it would be difficult to live without them.

My mum loves using claw clips but I could never get the hang of them! Love a productive list ☺️🙌

Really enjoyed reading this post, Lucy!
I know it doesn’t sound great, but I couldn’t live without my phone either lol. Like how will I chat with my online friends, listen to music and watch dramas without it?
