Hi everyone! How are you? 💗 Ready to feel empowered and motivated? Are they the same thing? 🤔 I don’t know but whatever they are, you’re gonna feel it! 🙌🤣 I’ve been sharing quotes every single day on my Instagram stories (I love falling into routines! It really is that – I fall in and don’t entirely know how I ended up there 😅). Finding a new quote over on Pinterest each evening/morning I get so excited to find one that speaks to me and earns it’s place! I had to bring that feeling over to the blog but with more than one quote of course because why not?
Let’s check out today’s quotes to unlock your power for the week ahead and have a little chat about each of them/pull more meaning from each one!
This coming week is yours for the taking! Whatever you’re going through, I wish for strength to be given to you and together we will manifest all good things. I hope this post brings forth the energy you need to put in the time and effort on the journey towards your dreams and goals! Here we go ✨️
People put off so many things because of the fear of how much stress it will cause and nobody likes being in a stressful situation (well I don’t know about you but I don’t!) but who is to say MORE worry will even come your way? You’re not to fully know as we can’t tell the future, just do the damn thing and you’ll realise almost instantly it’s not as difficult as you had thought it would be. Things are always worse in our minds, prove yourself wrong, there are enough obstacles, don’t be one. When my sister and I went to Japan we were so scared. We did this thing where we thought about the trip to the carpark, then the bus to the airport, then checking in luggage and then security – I think I forgot where I was even going because I’d calmed myself down so much by just thinking about each step! I know it’s not always as simple as that (my meds help 🙌🤣) but for almost any situation, smaller steps help you get further. And also, pat yourself on the back (literally if you can’t do it mentally) for moving forward, even if it was a super small step because you my friend are trying and I’m super proud of you all the way 💕.Living with depression in any capacity can be like a weight on your shoulders, it’s not always easy to FEEL the good things about each day, you can maybe see what they should be but actually appreciating them can be really, really hard. I know I can’t talk for everyone and I’m not saying you have depression, I’m just talking to those who do, like me, but doing things for you that would normally bring you joy/peace can help a whole lot in an attempt to place your thoughts elsewhere which will help you to find the good in your day. If you do not have depression then this may be easier or for your own reason it can be difficult but gratitude pushes you towards a better frame of mind and in turn drives you in the pursuit of your hopes and dreams. Try to write 3 things you’re grateful for each day, even if it gets repetitive, putting pen to paper soothes the soul or maybe that’s just the writer in me! 😂You can have people in your life cheering you on and still not feel it inside. You don’t have to become a full on cheerleader but you have got to believe you can now or eventually achieve your goals in order for them to actually happen. I find reading non-fiction self improvement books really drive me towards becoming the person I want to be. I don’t want to be anybody else, I yearn to become a better version of myself. The adventure that is self love is a lifelong journey but the good thing is that you are already on it, we all are and we’ve got what it takes just so long as we get back up after falling, even if it’s to go in another direction, just keep going. And you’ll then set another goal because if you’re like me, it’s so tricky to stop and celebrate the wins 🤣. Like the quote above says: One day you will be at the place you ways wanted to be – and whether you manifested it or not, I’ll bet you worked hard for it. There’s always behind the scenes work that others do not see and you’ve got the power to get on the road. If you can’t drive, walk and if you can’t walk then crawl in the direction of what you want in life (metaphorically speaking!).There is always a lesson to be learned, even if everything went okay, theres something you can take forward that you will or won’t do again. We are all students in and of life. It’s just whether or not you are the rowdy one who doesn’t pay attention or if you’re listening intently. I’m not saying the rowdy ones can’t come out on top, it’ll just take a bit longer but you’ll get there. What’s that quote: do not go gentle into that good night (Dylan Thomas if you wanna know).Picture this: you give up on something you really want, it’s not the end of your journey, you’ll just do something else. Now picture this: you keep going, slowly but surely building up to where you want to be and you have a great chance of getting there because you’re trying…do you want to know if you make it? Well I don’t know, I’m not you, am I? (Plot twist 🤣). What story do you want to live? Live it to find out what happens…When I was at my worst with my health I was stuck in a chair in constant pain, I couldn’t imagine life another way so I didn’t fully know what to dream of. I didn’t think things would change. Now, years down the line I still have my struggles and it took turmoil to get on good meds but I feel like I’m actually living when before I knew I was just existing. I try not to take this for granted, I forget a lot of what got me to this point but I try my best to appreciate what I’ve got now versus what I had. Even by doing little things like sitting in the garden and reading brings me so much joy (this was tough before as temperature plays a part in my pain) or being able to cook dinner. I don’t know what you’re going through so I can’t say do this or do that but you will get to a better place if you’re not there yet and if you are then I hope you are able to find moments in time where you can make the most of little moments.I don’t think I’d heard this quote before I found it on Pinterest, it’s so inspirational – I had to add it! You can’t lose if you don’t give up 😉.Hate drives me forward and I’d highly recommend this perspective! Even if there is no hate, just imagine a person who doesnt like you seeing you do well, hating on you for that reason and then them having to see that fuel your ambition even more – it works wonders 🤣.And for our last quote of the day! Whether its for the coming days, weeks or months, you’ve got this! It’s not always easy to have that pride in our own abilities but you deserve to acknowledge how far you’ve come and how far you’ll go 💫. I can’t wait for all that you will achieve, I have to…unless you’re a seemingly overnight success, in which case I’m jumping for joy because I have no patience ☺️🤣.
Sooo, how are we feeling? Good? Even better? Motivated? Pumped!? – All of the above I hope! ✨️ Your potential is unlimited.
Let me know in the comments below how you’re feeling and what your favourite quote of today’s post is! Mine has to be the one about small steps forward because it speaks volumes – progress isn’t always linear but every step is movement in the ring direction 🫡.
Have a wonderful week, you are all in my thoughts and I just know you’re going to well as you’re trying by checking out this post 😆. Take care, stay safe and buh-bye 😉💗.
