Hi everyone! š Recently on trips to various TK Maxx’s I’ve noticed they are getting rid of their Valentines day stuff and all of the Easter decor is now on show so I had to make a point of taking some pictures as it’s all so cute! š«¶š½ I once wrote a blog post about how much I love TK Maxx and that feeling hasn’t left, hence the mention of recent “trips” 𤣠and back in 2019 I did a similar post to this which was called Window-shopping: Easter is coming. It feels like things have gone full circle and I’m back years down the line celebrating a new season with my favourite place to be *wipes a tear away dramatically š„¹* I go to TK Maxx every week and I just love how you never know what you’re going to find & it’s so cosy, especially in the evening! āØļø Ps, this is NOT an ad, I’m just a fangirl.
Spring has all kinds of dates here in Ireland with February 1st being one (Traditional), March 1st another (Meteorological) and March 20th in an astrological sense and the weather isn’t on our side with trying to live our best Spring life (weather warnings and all) but I’mma go for it with this post anyway!
Spring has arrived in the Irish TK Maxx and we’re here for it, I love a good window shop where you just have a look around so let’s go for it! Here are some of the photos I took:

Also, my dog Nina would rip apart those carrots at the bottom!! š She loves a good carrot, real or not š„.

Did you see anything that you liked?? Is it Spring where you are too? Do you enjoy window shopping? (I guess this is nose squashed up to a metaphorical shopping because we’re inside the actual shop š¤£).
I really enjoyed looking at all of the Easter goodies on display in TK Maxx and I hope you did too! Now, let’s my imagination head on over to the checkout with everything I decided to get šš¤£.
I’ll be off on my merry way now but I’ll have a Spring in my step until the weather actually decides to get on board and properly make it Spring! 𫤠I will see you around, take care and have a lovely day or a restful night, buh-bye! āØļøš
I stepped into Marshalls yesterday, which I believe is affiliated with TK Maxx (I donāt think we have those here⦠if we do, I havenāt seen one) and it looked just like this and I was like, wow it looks so Springy in here, yet so wintery outside. Weāre supposed to get more snow this week⦠itās depressing. Iām so over this winter. I hope Spring is sprung in your neck of the woods! š±

Ahhh such a contrast! Yeah it must be really tough with how long the snow has been about now. Any news on if theres a break in it? Theres quite a bit of rain these days but some sun at times which I hold onto! š¤£

Honestly, I have no idea. Every time I think weāre in the clear, it snows again. š It was nice and warm the other day and the snow started to melt, but it snowed again last night. Weāre supposed to get rain⦠after more snow this week. Spring canāt come fast enough!!

Although we donāt have a TJ Max in Canada, we have similar stores like Marshallās and Winners. I like window shopping too, but personally not a big fan of collecting tchotchkes (esp. seasonal trinkets). My mom LOVES them and decorates her house with them. One year she made a DIY carrot wreath from Pinterest.

I didn’t know it’s not over there! Ooh I’d love to go to them if they’re similar š«. I get that, if I do buy things they end up getting misplaced around the house and we can never find them again so it kinda stops me – is like the borrowers take a liking to my finds š¤£. Ahh Pinterest has such neat ideas! š„

TJ Max owns Winners and Marshallās. Even though we donāt have TJ Max in Canada, the U.S. has that store. Iām surprised thereās a TJ Max in Ireland. Thatās very cool!
Iām the same way where I need to buy multiples of things if I like a particular item because āwhat if I lose this item and canāt find the exact replacement?ā šš This is my issue with a notebook that I had. My old one had a grease stain on the front cover that was bothering me and Iām the type who throws broken things away, because of this mindset: āif itās broken or damaged, throw it away.ā So I threw this otherwise perfectly good āš© TO DOā notebook away despite only using 1/3 of the pages because of the front cover, and covering it up with stickers and doodles wasnāt good enough for me. Iāve got a backup of the same notebook, but I canāt find a backup for that backup (Iāve looked at multiple store locations) and what if I fill that book up too and need a new book because I must always have 5 books on the go at any one time, of the same style and make. Am I crazy?? šš¤Ŗ

Haha you reminded me of how I dropped strong nail glue on my journal cover and was so frustrated with myself and i have rather it hadn’t happened at all but I used a pusheen sticker from my advent calendar to cover it and seeing as the advent calendar was a fav from my year and this was my end of year journal i felt alright in that i was combining the two! Ahh theres nothing wrong with having multiple/similar books on the go! š¤ books make the world a better place! š¤£āØļø

P.S. I thought I was was tripping for a second so I had to google this: TJ Maxx (USA/Canada) and TK Maxx (Europe/Australia) are the same companyāTJX Companiesāoperating as off-price retailers of clothing and home goods.
Moral of the story: Iām not crazy! š

Iāve always wanted to visit Irelandāyour country sounds absolutely lovely! š„° It looks like such a fun place to shop, and I was surprised to find out how many major retailers are based in Ireland or have strong ties to Ireland, like Etsy.

One day you will! āØļø Yeah I should really branch out of my norm-shopping places and try different stores. I saw a new massive comic book shop/trinket the other day and really want to go there!!
