Advent Calendars Galore! 😮🎄

Hi elf-ryone! (Yep I’m back to recycling catchphrase’s, sue me! 🤣). How are things? Feeling festive? Wanna see something cool? No, I didn’t learn how to fly…why would you think such a thing?..oh wait, you didn’t? Okay, it’s just me 🙈 oh the things that fly through my head 🫠🤣. Back to the task at hand! 👏 This year I wanted to get my family advent calendars, it’s my sisters thing to get our parents chocolate calendars but I wanted to get non-food-based calendars that are suited to each person uniquely. Its been so fun watching them react to their gifts and I thought I’d share the joy!

Starting with my sister I got her a makeup/skincare calendar by Popfix. Each day comes in its own box and I’m loving seeing what she gets! So far shes been given hand lotion, two lipsticks and an eyeliner that looks like quality stuff. Plus the hand lotion smells so good (roses 🌹😍).

I got my mum a bookish themed calendar as she is such a bookworm and because I only realised afterwards that the quality isn’t so great through reading reviews (since then I always check first, I promise 🙌😅) so I also got her a book that let’s you unwrap a section a day. I couldn’t find a thriller so it’s a romance and I’m hoping she will enjoy it! We love a good book! ✨️📚

I wanted a braintraining challenge calendar for my dad but I couldn’t find one so instead I got him all these little mental game toys and an empty calendar to put them in. I think he’s enjoying his the most and him and my sister have both been seeing who can do certain brainteaser toys! It’s been so nice seeing the joy on my dad’s face each day when he goes to open a door, not that you need to buy something for that, I suppose it’s just the thought! 💕

Then for myself I have a Pusheen calendar of course! Ii think Pusheen is so cute and I’m not entirely sure why as I’m more of a dog person but I do love my cats! 🥰 I guess Pusheen is just so squishy and adorable, I’d love to feed up my cats or put them on a treadmill with kitty protein so they could bulk up like Pusheen 🤭🤣. Up until the time of writing this post I have obtained three magnets, one card and a puzzle from this calendar, I think it’s really good so far and I always look forward to opening it. It’s a real treat! 😸

In the end, despite our usual plans, no one in my family opted for a chocolate advent calendar this year so I’m very happy and grateful I was able to do this for my loved ones (and myself ☺️🤣).
