Trying the Bubble T Matcha Lip Balm! 💚💋

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a cute & cosy post if I do say so myself? 🤣 Well whether you’re ready or not, it’s coming! My sister is the matcha girlie, I’m more of a chai latte fanatic but when we both recently set ourselves the challenge of each secretly buying eachother one skincare item, one item stationery and a snack all for a total of €10 , my sis chose this Bubble T matcha lip balm for me! (Side note: I wanna do that challenge again, maybe I’ll blog it!).

I really want to get into using lip balms as my lips are so dry. I have a solid collection of balms that were gifted to me over the years but they’ve always gotten overlooked so now I’m starting out with using them, beginning with this one! Are you ready for a review?

Properties & Packaging 📦

Well to start off, let’s look at what properties the Bubble T Matcha Lip Balm boasts and the packaging: It contains shea butter with jojoba oil and states on the packaging that it nourishes and restores which I sorely need! I have a history with dry skin so any hydration is welcome! 🙌 I love the boba style packaging and the polka dots on the actual product, this isn’t my first Bubble T product and it won’t be my last (I know you don’t keep outer packaging so it may not matter but it’s what draws you in so I think this one’s really cute!).

The taste test 🤣

So let’s try it out!……Here I go!…pucker up 💋🤣. It says to apply liberally and evenly as often as necessary so imma give it a good go! And….mmmm it smells very nice, like a sweet! Whoops, I got some on my tooth 😬😂. Okay, it’s very soothing, I like how easily it glides on and it leaves a soft feeling. I think I need to use a lip scrub before I put lip balm on again in the future tho (I’ve got a good one if you’d like me to blog about that too?).

Final thoughts 🤔

The verdict is in! 🤭 This lip balm is a nice little act of self care that packs a punch! I wish I could describe the scent more but I really like it, it’s gentle and I know I’m going to be carrying it in my handbag! (I’m really into knowing what people keep in there’s at the moment, I’m just too damn nosy! 🤣 I’ll be sure to share what’s in mine in the near future! (I haven’t done that in years! 🤯). Anyway, I would give the Bubble T Lip Balm an 8 out of 10 because the cute packaging isn’t overcompensating for what’s inside, it’s truly a good lip balm in my eyes, inside and out!
