Hi everyone! Spring has finally started here in Ireland and I’m here for it, even if the weather isn’t π€£π¦. Where abouts are you and is it Spring too? π Sooo, I have caught the flu from my sister π. What a way to welcome in the season! π I’ve been looking back at my tips for when you have the flu post and am going to see how fast I can make it disappear like KABOOM πΆβπ«οΈ. The virus has only just arrived and of course I’m ready to see it go, especially so I can make the most of the new season!
Even before the flu my chronic pain hasn’t been the best but I was coping so I’m going to treat my body like the temple it is and hope for the best (I guess we should be treating it that way anyway, just needed a reminder! π€£).
I’m very excited for Spring! What made me realise that it had arrived was waking up to the sound of my dad cutting the grass, this always brings back so many memories of fresh days, getting up and just feeling so alive! (Not that I wasn’t alive before…I’m not like a zombie or anything π π). What are you looking forward to? When I get better I wanna do some spring cleaning because it just makes more sense to me to leave it until now ππ€£ and I’m looking forward to wearing lighter items of clothing, not needing a coat all of the time and just getting out in the garden more which started last week so I was on a roll before the flu set in! π«
Have you got any tips to help beat the flu? I’d be so grateful to know them!
I’m gonna go now, this was just a quick midweek post so I’ll see you again on Saturday but until then, stay safe, take care and buh-bye! I hope you have a wonderful season πΈ
Nooo I just had the flu too! I would really recommend drinking warm teas, they help so much. And steaming your face.

Itβs Spring here, tooβ¦ but it snowed this morning. Thankfully it didnβt stick, but ugh. Iβm tired of the snow!

Thank you! π Omg snow in Spring?? That makes me think of having a Summer weather Christmas like in Australia. I hope there’s less snow for you soon! πβοΈ

Yeah we can unfortunately still get snow into April. It doesnβt always happen, Iβm just glad we didnβt get a dumping of snow in March. We did last year. This year the snow fell mostly in February. It was a very wintery winter! π

Wow!! It must be hard at times when you want some sun. It sounds like it can be a real winter wonderland! βοΈ

I hope you feel better soon. Rest and more rest is the key to getting well, so make sure you get plenty. Spring has arrived here in sunny Sunderland and Iβve just been to the supermarket with no coat on as itβs so warm! The birds were very active in the garden this morning and I sat outside with my coffee and watched them for a bit. Enjoy the season and itβll still be there when you feel better. Did I mention you should rest? π€£
