Chrimbo Limbo! What do I do now?

Hi everyone! How was your Christmas? 🎄 (If you celebrate it that is). It’s that period of time in-between Christmas and new years! That gap where it feels like time does whatever it wants 🤣. I didn’t feel overly festive this year but I’ve really been looking forward to new years eve for some reason! I’m going to be making a family favourite key lime pie that always goes down a treat and I love to bake so it’s a win/win situation!

It’s very easy to feel like so much was put into Christmas itself and now it’s done but personally my family are still going around saying merry Christmas as it still feels like it is that until new years eve 🙈😂. I’ll admit I’ve had moments where I wonder ‘what do I do now?’. I’ll feel a little bit overwhelmed by everything but then a list of things come to mind that I want to accomplish such as small errands, spending time with family, watching festive movies, planning for next year, enjoying gifts and of course, reading! (I’m still trying to read 100 books in 2024! 😅🤣).

Time has been going by so fast! Christmas day for me was very nice, like I said I didn’t feel that festive but I’ve tried not to put myself down about it and I had a lovely time with my family 🥰. The day(s) since have melted into a blur tho, until now when I’m writing to you ✨️. Blogging always makes me feel grounded in the present moment. It’s one of those perfect ways to end 2024 I think so that is what I’m doing!

I wish I could carry on the tradition of watching Jools Holland count down and see in the new year but we’ve only got Irish TV channels now so I’ll have to think of something else! What do you do to see in the new year when the clock strikes midnight?

I’ve got big plans for 2025 and I’m a bit anxious over how they’ll go but as they say, you’ve gotta feel the fear and do it anyway! 💫

Wishing you a very happy and healthy new year! Sending positive vibes your way, lap it up! 🤣 I’ve gotta go but I’ll see you soon, buh-bye ✨️💗
