Let the opening of advent calendars begin! Or at least that was my first thought this morning 🤣. This year went by unbelievably fast and is drawing closer to the finishing line and I couldn’t bring myself to let this moment pass without saying something which is why I left a hint at the end of my last post about uploading early. I’ll still be posting on Friday tho, I just wanted an extra little chat! 😊 Okay so…
At some point I became a bit obsessed with the idea of entering my Winter arc which from my understanding means working on your goals and bettering yourself now as opposed to waiting until next year to set new years resolutions. I mean you can set new years resolutions as well and I probably will but I like the idea of not waiting around and just grabbing the bull by the horns. What are your thoughts on this?
I’m excited for Christmas 🎄 (not as mad as some years but it’s there) and have finished shopping for gifts unless I see something I think someone will like. This must be the earliest I’ve ever gotten it done before! I know Christmas isn’t all about gifts but I can’t wait to treat my friends and family! 🎁 What’s on your wishlist?
The weather is dreary but I don’t hate it, the only problem it’s bought me so far is that it’s way too cold wearing my usual workout gear but I’ve solved this by ordering some exercise jackets from Gymshark with my birthday money, I can’t wait to recieve them!
Soon it will be my blogiversary and I’ll have been blogging for 8 years, isn’t that crazy?!! I don’t know how I’m going to celebrate yet but I’ll for sure be doing something or other. Let me know if you’ve got any ideas! I don’t know if 12 days of blogmas is on the cards, I think I’d just rather be a spectator this year 🤔. I’m looking forward to making festive content tho I won’t lie 🤣 it adds some extra festive cheer into the mix.
Have any of you started watching festive movies yet? My sister and I saw that there’s a new one with Jack Black playing Santa out on Paramount so we’re planning on watching that and I’m intrigued by one that is going to be released on Netflix on the 4th of December, I can’t remember the name (can’t be that intrigued then can I? 😂) but it had a song by Ed Sheeran in it that got recommended to me on YouTube which is how I found out about it.
One last thing, the Xmas FM radio channel has started back up here in Ireland and it’s been so nice listening to random festive songs, some silly and others just proper legends. It really gets you in the mood! 💃 I’m looking forward to having it playing while I cook!
