Did I pass my course? 😬

Hi everyone! How are you? 💗 I realised the other day that even though I checked when I was with you in my “having” coffee chat I haven’t let you know whether or not I passed my Marketing Practice course! It was an eight week course with extra time for the exam itself and I was really in two minds over whether or not I’d pass. I gave my all to the assignments and tried my best with the exam but you never can know sometimes but………I passed!! 🥳🥳🥳

I was so shocked and super relieved too 🤣. There is a long wait to recieve my certificate which means I can’t really go elsewhere than this college for the next course I want to do (Marketing Communications) unless I find my high school leaving cert results which I of course can’t find for the life of me 😂. I thought they were in my bedside cabinet but they’re not so as you can imagine I’m kinda stressed about my next move. The course is offered in two places, one being the college I did the first course in and another that offers quizzes but would either need those leaving cert results or the certificate which I haven’t got yet because of the wait so there’s a lot of thinking going on.

The college that I just completed the Marketing Practice course in would need a video presentation as well which I’m a bit anxious about and that’s really the only thing holding me back from going with them again but deep down I know I can do it so we’ll see!!

Both of the Marketing Communications courses involve a project but the other college includes quizzes which intrigues me and like I mentioned above, the college I was just with want the video presentation. I am just ranting at this point but I’m so confused about what to do. It’s not a bad problem to have and I’m grateful that all in all it’s a positive one but still, that’s where I’m at right now! 😐

Back to the meaning of this post, I feel like I never spend long celebrating things, I tend to just move on quickly so this is a nice moment in time to feel proud of myself as I’ve been out of college for years and I enjoyed getting back into it. Like I mentioned in my Do I See Myself as a Leader post, I have a path that I’m following and it feels good to know what direction I’m going in. After years of indecisiveness I’m getting to where I wanna be and I’m excited to take you along on the journey. Let’s be eachothers cheerleaders!! 😆

Are you a student? If so, what are you studying and if not, what have you studied in the past? 🤓

That’s it for my lil update! It was nice to talk things through as I often feel like I’m running on autopilot tbh. I’ll see you again next week, have a good one! Buh-bye ✨️💗

  1. Congratulations on passing your course!! 🎉✨

Before reading your blog post, I knew you passed. Reading the title alone indicated that you did. Why? Because it was too happy to be a sad blog post! 🤣

      1. Oooh that sounds good! 💁‍♀️ I’ve never had caramel biscuit syrup before. I also haven’t had biscoff cookies and when I think of biscuit syrup I think of that!

I’m drinking Yorkshire Gold tea (it’s imported) and I’m down to my last tea bag 😞 I’m debating whether to buy more or use up the rest of the non-caffeinated herbal teas I have before buying more orange pekoe tea. I’ve got a lot of green tea but not really a big fan of it (except matcha is okay, and I’m out of matcha)

I do have caramel Nescafé instant coffee. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I’m going to say it’s because of the caramel flavor haha Caramel makes everything better! 😋☕️

      2. The biscuit syrup was way too sweet in the end and didn’t taste of biscuit at all! 😤 ooh I love biscoff!! Ahh it sounds like you’re onto a winner getting in your fav tea. I tried matcha but maybe I tried in the wrong places, I just couldn’t get into it. My favourite drink of all time is chai latte, whether that be iced or hot. I agree, Caramel is the best. My sister makes me a hot decaff coffee every evening and this evening she added Vanilla syrup, couldn’t really taste the Vanilla but if anything it brought our the coffee flavour more 😋x

      3. I love chai lattes! My favorite one is the Starbucks chai latte mix that Costco sells. Just mix it with milk and voila~! Tastes exactly the same as the Starbucks version for a fraction of the price.

I think maybe I didn’t get a matcha powder I liked because the last time I bought some – it didn’t taste as good as Starbucks matcha or Booster Juice matcha powder. I’m sorry the biscuit syrup was too sweet and didn’t taste very good. It’s disappointing when it doesn’t taste as good as we were hoping it would.

It’s interesting that your sister uses vanilla syrup. My husband adds vanilla extract to my coffee sometimes and it tastes fancier with the vanilla extract. Just don’t add too much vanilla or it will overpower the coffee. ☕️💕

      4. Ahh omg you can buy the Starbucks chai latte mix?? I’m so jealous. Their iced chais are delicious. Maybe I should try starbucks matcha, I tried in a cafe called btwenty7 and it just tasted of earth 🤣 wasn’t my thing at all. Ooh that’s interesting, I wonder what vanilla and Caramel would taste like together 😋
