I took a personality test! 🤔 Featuring a lil personal update at the end! 💗

Hey! How are you? Okay so today’s post is a little bit different 🤣. I’m going to take a personality test and see what the results are! Whenever I hear what “type” people are I get fairly intrigued so I thought it would be interesting to do and document here! I have absolutely no idea what to expect so this should be fun or an experience if anything 😅. I’m a bit dubious about how right it will get me but we’ll see how it goes. So let’s jump right in!

To start with I’ll let you know the website I’m doing it through! (This isn’t an advertisement or anything). I googled Myer briggs (which I’d heard about from God knows where 🤔🤣) and found 16personalities.com and depending on how it goes I might try out another website too to see how they compare! I guess this is kind of like a review of the site I use too!

Firstly they’re asking me a lot of personal questions (I won’t go into them here tho). It’s asking me to rate things about myself on a bar type scale which is a bit tricky as you don’t know whether or not you’re being completely accurate but I’ll just go with it and let the answers flow whilst making sure I’m giving proper answers.

A few of the questions took my by surprise meaning they were difficult to answer but I powered on! 💪 (For greater good and the blog content ofc 😂). I was going through them rating each question and then I realised I’d been making a mistake, I was marking them thinking I agree was on the right and disagree was on the left so I had to go back and correct my answers 🙈.

Okay so I’m 10% through it. I might just do this one website as its taking some time but we’ll see!…….Guys!! I made it to 25% and because I went off it to message a friend it took away all of my progress 😭😭😭. I’m just gonna start it again and come back to you when I’m finished! 🙌

A few years ago I think I would have been more Introverted but I’ve changed a lot over the years and what they’ve said is so true!

Mind:

Yes, yes and yes! Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner! 🤣 I have a huge imagination and have recently gotten back into writing stories and putting work into meaningful poetry. I also am always thinking about what could be! ✨️

Nature:

36% thinking / 64% feeling

It says: Feeling individuals value emotional expression and sensitivity. They place a lot of importance empathy, social harmony, and cooperation.

Gosh this makes me sound like a good person 🤣. I’ll take all the damn credit!

Tactics:

65% judging / 35% prospecting

It says: judging individuals are decisive, thorough and highly organised. They value clarity, predictability, and closure, preferring structure and planning to spontaneity.

I really do value predictability now that I think about it, I don’t like things taking me by shock…unless it’s winning a competition or something anyway 🤣.

Identity:

46% assertive / 54% turbulent

It says: Turbulent individuals are self-conscious and sensitive to stress. They feel a sense of urgency in their emotions and tend to be success-driven, perfectionist and eager to improve.

Okay so that’s not so good but I’ve gotta admit, it’s accurate 🤣. If you’ve made it this far into the post then first, you’re a real one and secondly, I’ll let you in on a secret. Over a year and a half ago I had a breakdown so I find this to be a very true depiction of myself given what I have been through and im not ashamed to say it!

Right so I used screenshots in order to be able to recall all of the above information and I thought there was more but there is also a load of information about my type HERE in more detail so feel free to check that out.

Something that took my attention via that link was that INFJ’s feel like they have a personal mission and as though their life has a unique purpose. “a mission that they were put onto this earth to fulfill. For them, one of the most rewarding aspects of life is seeking out this purpose – and then, once they’ve found it, striving to do it justice” – but don’t we all? I hope that we all find our purpose, whatever it is that makes you want to get up about of bed in the morning for, it is my wish that you find it! 💗

I got them to email through my details and on that email it says my role is a Diplomat (whatever that means 🤣) and it says my strategy is constant improvement which is me to a T. I’m always looking for ways that I can do better and more recently I’m looking into courses. The education side of things for me has taken the back burner for a while now but I’m finally ready to jump in again and very excited about it. I went for a meeting yesterday with a training centre and they advised me very well, even if it means not going with them which is nice!

So anyway, I feel heard with this personality type!!!! And I’m also so happy to finally know what I am 😁. I would rate 16Personalities very highly!

As you can probably guess, by the length of this post I won’t be comparing my type to another one today but if you’d like me to do that and share another websites thoughts on my personality then by all means I will do so, let me know! 💌
