Movies & Series I’ve watched recently! #2 🍿

Hi everyone! 👋 Welcome to my lil corner of the internet, I hope youre keeping well 💗. Today I thought I’d share what movies and series I’ve been watching after I enjoyed writing the last post to this series so much! Last time it was just about movies but this time I’m gonna be sharing some series I’m into as well!! Let’s get into it….starting with….

• Nimona

A knight is framed for a crime he didn’t commit, and the only person who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona, a shape-shifting teen who might also be a monster he’s sworn to kill.

I first read the graphic novel of this and then decided to watch the film which I loved! It had just the right blend of action and heart. I don’t think the movie was very much like the novel from what I can remember but I still enjoyed it a lot.

• My Life With the Walter Boys

When a tragedy disrupts her life, a teenager moves in with her guardian’s big family in a small town and learns lessons about love, hope and friendship.

I’ve just started this and I can tell I’m going to be obsessed with it already! I feel like they’re trying to make it feel like Anne With an E a bit but I don’t think it quite meets that, who knows tho, my opinion might change on that or maybe it’s good that it’s it’s own thing 🤔. I think I want to read the book as well!

• Orion and the Dark

The thing Orion fears the most is the dark. When the embodiment of his worst fear pays a visit, Dark whisks Orion away on a roller-coaster ride around the world to prove there is nothing to be afraid of at night.

This was so good! It was recommended on the homepage on our playstation for Netflix so we thought we’d give it a go and we weren’t disappointed.

• The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Six glamorous and successful women residing in Salt Lake City, Utah, try to balance their busy schedules with their high-profile social lives.

My sister and I just finished watching the latest series of this and it was drama filled I tell you! Let me know in the comments if you watch any of the Real Housewives franchises! My favourite is New York! 🍏

Hilda

Hilda, a fearless blue-haired girl, travels from a wilderness full of elves and giants to a bustling city packed with new friends and mysterious creatures.

This is a cute cartoon that is so very calming! I’m halfway through the series already and eating up every bit of it 🤣. I can’t put into words what it is that makes this stand out, the artistry is just so cute and cosy to watch!

Married at First Sight Australia

Couples, matched by three experts, meet as strangers and subsequently wed each other. After honeymooning and staying together for a month, they decide whether to further their marriage.

My sister and I are making our way through all of the series going backwards (don’t know why we’re going backwards 🤣) at the moment we’re on season 6 and loving it! We’re mad into both this and Married at first sight UK but right now we’re just watching australia.
