A blind date with a book! #2

Hello there! 👋 Welcome to my blog where I’ve a very exciting post lined up for you today! 👏 It’s Christmas on Monday and I’m so excited!! I dont have a festive post planned for today tho, oh no, this is just a relaxing read before you go about your day. A short while ago I got given some money for my birthday and I thought ehat better way to spend part of it than to get another blind date with a book!? (You can check out the first edition to this series here!). If you don’t know then buying a blind date with a book is basically like either picking a genre and/or being surprised completely by a secret book and this time round I chose: Young Adult as my genre from the Etsy shop: Jackson’s Bookshelf! Let’s see what arrived!!

It came neatly wrapped up with a bar of chocolate and a night time teabag which was lovely. It was meant to come with a bookmark too but didn’t which is a shame but oh well, I’ve resorted to tearing up and folding paper these days anyway 😂.

Now it’s time to tear it open and see what I got given….💥

I’m so happy with what got picked out for me this time around and I’m also very relieved it’s not something that I already have!! 🤣 Jackson’s Bookshelf hit the nail on the head with this one and did a grand job with picking out something I’ve secretly been wanting to give a go for ages. I can’t tell you how excited I was when I unwrapped this book!! Let me know in the comments below if you’ve read it before and what you thought about it.
