Food I’ve made recently! 🤌🤣

Hi everyone! How are you doing? 💕 Well another week has passed by and it’s blog post time! I’ve been cooking a lot lately so I thought it’d be a fun idea to show you guys what I’ve made! The majority of the recipes are from the Donal Skehan cookbook I got from the library in this post and I’ve since been back to the library and got loads more books but that’s for another post! 😏📚 (all I can say is I’ve gone a little bit wild 😅🤣). But anyway, back to the post at hand! I’m gonna shoe you what food I’ve made lately, be sure to let me know if you’d like me to post the recipes, they’re all fairly simple!

Moroccan crispy chicken salad

I’ve made this twice so far and my family and I love it sooo much! It’s my first time trying bulgar wheat and it goes very well in the salad. The chicken tastes of this place called Boojum which we were obsessed with meal kits by in lockdown so it’s like a walk down memory lane.

Thai chicken burgers

I may or may not have added too much coriander to these burgers but they tasted delicious regardless, especially with the next meal on the list!

Turmeric sunshine coconut stew

I should rename this as we didn’t have any turmeric so I added in herbs that were meant to be good substitutes instead. It was very hearty and yummy!

Sweetcorn Fritters

This is the only recipe that wasn’t by Donal Skehan, its by The Happy Pear! They were very good sweetcorn fritters, I’m tempted to make them again and add saltfish as my mum said they’d go very well with that!

Thai chicken dumpling soup

This was super wholesome and tasted so flavourful! I wish I could have some again right now!

Oaty rhubarb crumble cake

If there’s one thing I recommend you try then it’s gotta be this rhubarb cake I tell you! 🙌 It’s not too sweet or anything, it’s perfecto! Chefs kiss 🤌😂.

And there goes everything! I would make it all again in a heartbeat 💕. I’ve really enjoyed cooking lately and putting on a BTS playlist whilst I do so, it’s just been really nice and relaxing plus it’s the first time I’ve made stuff and not been bored of the sight of it by the time it’s finished cooking so there’s that too I suppose 🤣. I can’t wait to see what else I can make and go buy the ingredients for as that’s fun too going out with a list of what’s needed!! Again, let me know in the comments if you’d like the recipe for anything and I’ll get that right up!

So yeah! That was fun to share. I’ll see you again soon but until then I hope you have the best weekend ever, stay safe, take care and buh-bye! ✨️Xx
