How to make quick & yummy raw energy balls!

Hiya everyone! Welcome back or to my blog in the first place if you’re new here 😊. Bet you didn’t expect to hear from me so soon! I sure didn’t 🤣. Today’s post is very exciting and super delicious. I’m going to share an easy recipe I found in a book called Slow by Jo Peters….raw energy balls!! 😋 You won’t believe just how fast it is possible to make these which kinda contradicts the whole “slow living” mantra but oh well! 🤣 I made them a while back now but I can still remember how they taste, delicious! Wanna know the recipe? I’ll tell you it right now! Let’s begin with what you need:

Ingredients

  • 220g dates
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 55g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 160g rolled oats
  • 40g almonds

Recipe

1. Grate the chocolate or break it up roughly depending on what texture you’d prefer.

2. Pulse together all of the ingredients until they make a thick paste.

3. Roll into balls.

4. They can now be eaten or put into the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up!

And there we have it!! Isn’t that simple, it’s really just all in making sure you’ve got the ingredients and then you’re good to go! 😋 I hope you enjoy these raw energy balls as a yummy snack, be sure to let me know if you decide to make them.

Thanks for checking out this post you lovely human bean! I’ll see you again soon but until then, stay safe, take care and buh-bye! 💕

  1. These look good! I made something similar once but it didn’t really turn out. I didn’t use dates or a good processor so that’s where I probably messed up. The only ingredient I would add to your recipe is coconut 🙂
