Hi elf-ryone! 💚❤️

Long time no see, huh! How longs it been?…..48 hours? 🤔 This time apart thing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be 😓🤣. Jokes aside (because we all know I’m used to not seeing you guys for longer, my posting habits are a thing and my kinda Blogmas is tackling that), Imma let you in on a lil secret! 🧐….Come a little closer. Not too close. Step back. Okay…..My room is MESS………

….What?..that’s not a secret because I tend to go on about it??…oh, well this is awkward 🙄. That was meant to be some big announcement but even without the shock I was hoping for, I still feel a ton of relief for confiding in you. It’s also become apparent to me that I can’t set jokes aside 😂. I guess the rest of this should be a doddle then! 👏

Now onto the REAl intro! Last Christmas I didn’t put any decorations in my room and soon afterwards I made a vow to myself that I would for Xmas 2021! (I didn’t think it would come around so damn fast tho 🤣). I’m having another one of those surreal moments where it dawn’s on me how quickly time flies 😨…and it’s over 🥲. There are a few pieces I’m obsessed with right now and those are what I’m going to show you today! (Of course this is just my room, not the house so there isn’t a LOAD of decorations to go through. Simply a healthy amount…but yes, I’d like more 🤣). Feast your eyes 👀 (I’ll admit it’s not nearly as filling as Christmas dinner tho – perhaps a Sunday roast? 🍗). Oh and I broke out some old fairy lights because it was such a dark day when I took these pictures! ✨ Let’s gooo…….

Snow globe ❄️

I got this for my birthday and it’s so beautiful!! I’ve been dropping hints that I’d like a snow globe for ages now and I finally got one 😏🤣. It’s really heavy and whenever I pick it up my mind is instantly filled with the thought that I might drop it 😅 (that could be a good trivia question for people to guess what I’m talking about but then again, loads of things are breakable. Snow globes are probably one of the worst things to break as they go EVERYWHERE tho (my mum told me that because she accidentally broke one in the store when she got me it 🤭. The person working there was like “that’s okay 😁😒🧹”…but anyway, back to the post! I have the snow globe in pride of place up ontop of my desk and even tho it’s festive I’m going to keep it out for the long haul because I get the feeling this season will be around for a LONG time and Winter wonderland will be a welcome take on this cold, cold weather 🥶😂.

Nutcracker banner

I went out the other day to pick up a gift for somebody and came across this banner! It was the only thing I had no doubts over getting, call me fickle minded but I’m easily swayed when it comes to nutcrackers. I can’t see any ornaments/crafts revolving around them not being worth it 🙌. I love how bright and colourful this banner is. Took me forever and a day to untangle and hang it up and then I almost tore it in half but it was worth the hassle! 😍🤣

The Kevin the carrot teddy

He’s so cute!! 🥕 My sister gave me this around the end of last month as like a good luck charm for something I was nervous about and I can’t entirely look him in the eye….I eat carrots almost everyday so there’s some guilt going on 🤣.

Cushions 🤗

This wouldn’t be a decor post without cushions! Especially in cold weather seasons because they’re so cozy and they really warm up a space. These two cushions are the oldest decorations on this list and one of them won’t zip up anymore but it’s still a coveted item in my book! 🤣

Aaannnddd that was all I could find! 😌 (I have a big felt Santa advent thing but I’ve got no idea where it is. For the last 10 years or so it’s annoyed the hell out of me because I could never find anywhere to put it when Christmas was over and now I’d actually like to see it I can’t find it 😑😐😑. I’m also pretty sure I have a festive blanket somewhere but it may have gone to the dogs, like all good things do 🤣. So yep! I was tempted to steal Christmassy bits & pieces from around the house but I stopped myself because if Santa sees you when you’re sleeping, I’ll bet he’s on alert when you’re a thief too 😇😂.

Have you got a favourite festive decoration of your own? When it comes to my room it’s a tie between the snow globe and the banner! ❄️🤔 I’m so happy I’ve put out some decorations in my room this year!! Even if it’s not a crazy amount it’s made a nice change for once + I feel that bit more festive because of it. Going around the house there’s seasonal stuff but my room would switch off from that so it’s great to not let that happen 🎄. Alright, I’m off! Un-tinsel I see you again (please let that be a passable pun for until 😅. Have another one: Don’t bauble, go on your merry way! (I think bauble is way better than dawdle 🙌 let it be known from this day forth that we are to say bauble 📢😏…the megaphone looks like it’s going to surprise that emoji 🤣).
