Tropical Teaser Mocktail Recipe! ๐Ÿน๐Ÿ˜

Hello everyone! ๐ŸŒŠ How are you doing today? ๐ŸŒž You know when the weather is so hot you can’t help but think it’s like that everywhere right now and it’s tricky to even imagine the existence of a CoLd PlAcE? (What even is that anymore? I want those seasons back in moderation please, this is too much ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ). Well lately because it’s been unbearable at times and just for the pure sake of it I’ve resorted to trying out refreshing treats! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿน I made it my duty to make a mocktail I discovered in a Good Housekeeping magazine and both my family and myself loved it a lot so today I’m going to share the recipe with you alongside some expected raving about just how good it is! ๐Ÿ™Œ I’m not messing around with this post, we’re gonna go right in with what’s needed to make a mocktail in minutes! ๐Ÿคฏ…the latter of the two is not exactly a mind-blowing concept but me getting straight to the point most certainly is ๐Ÿคฃ. Here we go:

Ingredients:

  • 150ml squash – I used what was recommended in the magazine (Robinsons no added sugar orange and mango) but you can honestly go with whatever fruit juice you’d prefer that I’m guessing requires being diluted! I’m planning on trying out others too ๐Ÿ‹)
  • 1 litre ginger beer/ale (I’ve seen recipes that use soda water instead tho).
  • Zest and juice 1 lime
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint sprigs (these play a huge part in making it what it is! ๐Ÿƒ).

Method:

1. To start off I put the squash into a large jug (I had to empty one out that was holding flowers and give it a good scrub first which added on additional time to the advertised 5 mins in the magazine ๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜‚), I then added the ginger beer which made it all fizz up before introducing the lime zest and juice!

2. Next up I filled 4 tall glasses with ice (you can do 6 if you want to tho!). The more ice you can fit in will make it even better because then it goes further as that melts and it magically doesn’t reduce in flavour + end up tasting like water either! (That’s my kinda magic โœจ๐Ÿคฃ).

3. Add a mint sprig to each glass and pour in the drink, easy peasy! ๐Ÿ‘ Serve immediately for best results and compliments because I was all for that feedback and being told it tasted good! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Fruity with a hint of bubbling, spicy mint which is powered by the ginger beer, I’m in love with this drink ๐Ÿ˜‹.

Sooooooo I’m eager to know your thoughts! ๐Ÿ’ญ Have you ever tried mocktails before? I’ve had them on my mind lately because this one’s spectacular!๐Ÿน. Since having these drinks myself I like to think of them as the perfect addition to any type of occasion: I even threw together a single serving for my mum on her birthday to have in a coconut shaped cup and I’m surprised that went down well because I did NOT measure that stuff out ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿฅฅ. Thanks for checking out this post! It means a lot and I hope some of you actually want give this a go! Regrets won’t enter the equation and if they do then just add either more ice or fruit juice to level things out a bit! ๐Ÿ˜‚. If you give this recipe a go then be sure to share your opinion and above all, ENJOY! ๐Ÿ˜† Have a lovely day people! โœจ๐Ÿ’—xx

    1. Thank you!! Haha you should go for it ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿน a good idea would be to buy the mint and because it goes out of date so fast you’ll feel more inclined to use it! ๐Ÿคฃ
