My Spring moodboard of memories! ✨

HEY THERE!

Am I shouting? I guess you’ll never know…It could be how you perceive my voice to sound because of the capitals or I might just like being dramatic 🤷 How are you on this fine day? ❤️ *Tries to regain composure after a clap of thunder sounds in the distance* I’m being serious, this weather has come out of nowhere“fine” does not cover it 🙌 Hello Summer 😂

Instead of sharing a moodboard like I usually would, let’s just ignore the fact that I never did that in the height of the season and rejoice at a marvelous replacement……*drumroll please*……today I’m going to show you a collage I created that captures a snippet of how Spring panned out for me. Kind of like a visual version of my Spring bucket list revisited but with more focus on the memories part that seemed to evade me at the time of that post because of the cloud that is ISOLATION ☁️. I’ve been focusing a lot more on memories of when we could be out and about so I had forgotten what I’d actually been up to inside 😂

Thankfully, photos exist and they have jogged my memory (in the last 3 days on from that post 🙄 WHY couldn’t I have remembered it all back then? 😂) so this moodboard features some of them and a few cartoon stickers. Summer starts on the 20th of June here in Ireland so I’m just getting in my last few moments of reminiscing about Spring, ENJOY! 😊😂 Here it is in all of its former glory:

The photo of the sky was taken whilst leaning into the outside world as I spent a lot of time sitting on the windowsill watching the sun go down (I wrote about why I like doing this HERE, it’s a riveting tale 😂) I’m hoping this will continue into Summer but like I said above, we’ve been having stormy weather these last few days so I don’t know when I’ll get to do that again 🌄 plus, birds have been trying to make nests underneath the hut surrounding our house and they’re getting a bit aggressive in going about it so I’d rather not stick my head out of the window right now 😬 I’ll go into more detail on that one in another post! 😂

I couldn’t not include an Easter egg as they were so delicious! 🤤 I think that one was the salted caramel fudge KitKat 🍫😋. Moving on from that droolfest I added a book because throughout Spring I would lounge around with my head stuck in one as per usual (imagine if your head was permanently stuck in a book 😵).

I then threw in my bullet journal as I started my first ever one after years of procrastination in April ✨ You can take a look at the spread I laid out for it HERE. I haven’t done one since but I do have an idea that involves bees 🐝 so I’m currently planning that (who knows when it will make it out of my mind and onto paper?? 😵 Definitely not me anyway 😂).

A wooden spoon was thrown into the mix (pun fully intended) because of all the video call bakes I’ve been doing lately. I wrote a bit about them at the beginning of my May Favourite’s and more developments are underway! They’re super fun to do (super doesn’t even sound like a word anymore because I thought about saying it for too long 😂) and my next one is on Saturday but I don’t know if I’m up to it what with my flare-ups lately, we’ll see how it goes! Something’s gonna happen because you can’t keep me out of the kitchen lately 😂

Flowers blossomed in Spring so I plastered some into the collage for good measure 🌸

A picture of that time I painted the sunset onto my arm had its place written in the stars because out of everything, that day felt like Spring to me for some reason. You can read my thought process behind it on my April Favourite’s post.

And last but by no means least are boardgames! 🎲 When isolation started out we would play a board game almost everyday whether it be Monopoly, Dungeons & Dragons or Cluedo, we would add our imagination into the fold. Maybe we leave a part of our resourcefulness in the boxes each time because it always comes as a shock as to how our creativity knows no bounds when the dungeonmaster wakes up within, I’ll tell you that and no more! The rest is up to your imagination 😂💭.

Thank you for checking this post out from afar! 😯 Well is it really from afar if it’s on a screen in-front of you? 🤔😵🌎 What would you add to your memories moodboard? Be sure to let me know in the comments below and I hope you have a wonderful day! 💕

    1. Thank you!! 😆 My sister loves Cluedo, we try not to write down eliminations of who it could be as then the game ends up going so fast when we want to space it out longer 😂 I’ve always thought that my favourite season is Autumn but I have enjoyed this spring so maybe half and half! 🍂🍃 I like that they both have in-between weather where it can be hot and cold unlike summer/winter which are just solely one type. I appreciate that, today’s been a bad day for migraine pain so I’ve had to keep still so as not to make it worse but it’s calming down now so I didn’t get to bake. My sister made oat chocolate cookies with a swirl of hazelnut and they turned out so nice! 😍 Thank you lovely, hope you had a great day! ✨💕

      1. Of course!! Ah that’s such a great idea, Cluedo is such an amazing game 💓 Yes mine has to be autumn but it’s a very close call with summer 😖 Hm agreed! That’s what I love about autumn and it’s just so beautiful. Oh no I hope it’s calmed down a lot! Oh my gosh I swear my mouth watered at the sound of those cookies… yum! 😋 No worries, you too! 🙂

  2. Such a cute board! I loved that you included board games! When quarantine was first issued, my family invested some more time in Friday Night, Game Night. It was a great throwback to the days when we played board games nearly every month. Great post, as usual!! 😊💕
