Hi everyone!
How are you? β€οΈ Do you know what you deserve right now? A fun post to keep you on your toes and looky here, I’ve got one ready for you! (I’m good to you like that π). It’s been a while since I put together an A-Z list and seeing as they’re so much fun to do I thought I’d make one for blogging! In the past I’ve done them for Summer and Christmas but this was very different from both of those in that I found it 10 times harder for some reason π At times I was wracking my brain for answers but we got here in the end! π π Sing along if you know it π:
A – Anonymity: although I’m not completely anonymous I feel like I am as I haven’t told you my full name or where I live (basic privacy there π). Advertising is another one! It’s a good way to get your posts out there.
B – Blogging itself! The piΓ¨ce de rΓ¨sistance of life if you ask me!
C – Community (the absolute best thing about this whole thing) and comments which are always lovely to receive π¬
D – Dedication: it takes a while lot of this in order to keep a blog on it’s toes π
E – The excitement you feel about a post that took your all to write and you hope others enjoy it too.
F – friends: the blogosphere is full of them π€
G – the guilt you feel when you haven’t posted in a while (this is 100% me when I’m on a break π).
H – Honesty is key ποΈ
I – Inspiration β¨ Difficult to find at times but my God do we hold onto it when it decides to grace us with it’s presence!
J – Journal: Does anyone else keep a blogging notebook? I think I’m on my 5th one! I’d never even contemplated finishing a notebook before I started this blog π
K – Keywords: can someone PLEASE explain to me what they are? I’ve heard they’re important words relating to a post that you add into it so that it will show up in the search bar?? I don’t know πΆ
L – The like button! β€οΈ Don’t tell me you’re not tempted π…π
M – You are the Mastermind behind your blog π I’m sure there’s a better one for M out there but what are ya gonna do? π€·π
N – Your Niche! I like to say that my niche is infinity! π« Because I don’t want to limit myself to one subject or else I know for sure that I’d run out of ideas π
O – Optimism (I know there’s a lil thing called optimization that I could have included here but I don’t wanna get technical, I’m far too tired for that right now π): I like to remain optimistic about my blog and what it could possibly become whilst enjoying the journey here and now!
P – Posts: you can’t have a blog without posts! π And don’t forget blogging parties π I blog completely through my phone too π±
Q – Questions: I often end a blog post with a question as I like it when a conversation sparks up in the comments section about whatever is going on in the post.
R – Readers (it’s always lovely to see that a post is being enjoyed!) and reviews: there are some coming your way soon π
S – Spam comments (who needs em? π), Scheduling (which is a lifesaver!) and saving posts to read later as they are a real treat when I’m all comfortable and ready to appreciate them! β
T – Tags: these help a post to get views and another type of tag is the one that you are nominated to do & might have to answer questions on!
U – Understated: A lot of bloggers on here deserve recognition for what they do because they’re so darn amazing π
V – Venting: you’ll catch me doing that a LOT on here but I like to call it a rant ππ
W – WordPress of course! π
X – The trickiest of them all π€ ummm I like doing x-mas posts around Christmas time! π π
Y – Having that idea that it takes you a year to put together and then you don’t even know if you want to share it anymore π
Z – we all have great zeal in what we do! (Please say that sentence makes sense π I’m TRYING here π). Apparently zealous is another word for passionate π
Thank YOU for reading! π I could feel myself singing the alphabet to make sure I didn’t leave anything out ππ Is there anything you’d add? Let me know in the comments below and have a great day! β¨
Great post! This is such a cool post idea! π

I, and J. I am so glad when my Muse sticks around, long enough for me to compose another post. I didnβt bother with a journal. I just opened a Word file titled Blog Notes. It has a list of blog themes, a list of words for the A To Z, stupid language misusages that I will ridicule, vignettes that I will sew together into a trivia postβ¦. and lots and lots of jokes for my comedy posts. Itβs currently at about 7000 words. Congratulations π

That’s so interesting you jump straight into typing out the post β¨ I like having the backup of it being written down incase a post disappears like it has done in the past π It’s nice to have an insight into how someone else does this. Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment! π

Oh no! I composed my first 15 posts, directly onto WordPress, then I got smart. Now I open another Word file, titled ‘Blog #XX‘, compose it there, and hold it for upload to WordPress when scheduled. I currently have about 35 posts ready to go. My Word file of 1200+ posts allows me to go back and research/remind, to reference past thoughts to new posts. Even longer, more complex comments can be composed in Word, reviewed, revised, and dropped into place. Good luck. π

Ah right, it’s best to have that back up option. I don’t know how I’d cope without mine π That’s brilliant you have 35 posts ready to go! β¨ Thank you!

Robert Heinlein said that, to be a writer, you have to pump out 2000 words every day. I can’t do that. I am not that regular, or dedicated. My best was composing eight posts in three days. I rested a day, and then assembled four comedy posts from already-harvested jokes – 12 posts in 5 days. Then I produced nothing for almost two weeks. That’s why I need the cushion. I sort and schedule them. I don’t want all the comedy at the same time, or the English discussions one behind the other. I had one post that was 14 months ahead – it’s down to 9 now. π

I wouldn’t be able to do that either π I’d say we are all unique and have our own standards to set that we will live up to in terms of getting stuff done. Scheduling is a great way to find that balance between various types of posts, I always try to space out similar ideas on my blog too. Wishing you the best of luck on your blogging journey! β¨

I used to love doing alphabet tags! They were so fun! This post just reminded me about them! It really makes me want to write another one now! ππ

I got so invested in doing it I was constantly thinking what I could put for each letter until it was completed π Thank you for reading it! β¨π

This was great!
I receive criticism for not sticking to just one niche, but like you, I donβt want to limit myself! I really enjoyed this!
