Hi everyone! I have a question for you: Do you see a half full glass as being half empty or vice versa? 🤔
My opinion: tbh I usually just see it as a glass with a drink in it 🤷 but if I really think about it I can’t help but see it as half empty. I know that the original positive view of the glass being half full is supposed to win but I still think it’s empty. However I do believe it has the potential of being topped up though and won’t stay half forever! (Not even sure if it being half in the first place is a bad thing). It’s like a whole other motivational take on it (mind = blown…well mine has been by this realization anyway! 😂).
What do you think? Can you conjure up a whole other way to perceive the half full/empty glass? Let me know & have a brilliant day! ❤️
I used to see half empty like everything else in life. I saw what I didn’t have. Now as I focus more on the positive I see the glass as half full. Appreciating more of what I have. Taking the time to enjoy what is already in my life. It makes me much more grateful and happy 😊. Xoxo Sarag

Ya know I’m always thinking about this! I think my natural response would be to say half empty, but I try to be positive and say half full LOL 😂

I wanted once on holiday in Greece in one of those shops where you can choose transfer for them to print on to a t-shirt but there were use issues with colour t-shirt could have on. Anyway it was lots of squares with pictures of half empty / full glasses and a caption on each. Wish could remember more of them! Know one was environmentalist says save the glass.

Greece must have been wonderful! I love it when you can put your own touch/style on something like that and get a design printed on a t-shirt (have just seen you’ve tagged me on Instagram will go have a look! ❤️).

It’s funny that you bring this up, and you know what it has been that when this question arises I just blurt out “half-full”( which I guess is supposed to show your immediate take on things) But it could be interepted in many ways I guess and it’s just one or the other in some cases.

That’s very true, it is just one or the other really and usually I’d give a random answer and not think about it 😂 I’m curious as to why our minds latch on to an answer. Thank you so much for reading and sharing your opinion! 😄❤️

I normally say half full. Not because of any positivity thing, I just think that out of habit

That’s interesting! I wonder what forms alternate habits in our minds. Whenever I see a half full glass I’m right over there topping it up 😂 Thank you so much for sharing your opinion 😄❤️

Thank you! Neither had I up until a few weeks ago 😂 it’s cool how our perspective on things can change when we really think about them in a different light ❤️
