My Spring Bucket List Revisited 2019 🏖️

Hi everyone! Although it isn’t officially Summertime yet here in Ireland I’m ready to wave goodbye to Spring and what better way is there to do that than to acknowledge my Spring bucket list and get it out of the way! 😂 I kinda, sort of forgot I wrote this list so anything on it that actually got completed is purely by chance 🙈 I think I’ll be better off writing down my next list on the chalkboard hanging on the wall in my room so that I remember it but for now let’s go through it all and see how I did! 😬

Do some puzzles

I think I did one puzzle (that ain’t good! 😂). When it came down to it I just wasn’t interested. I can remember emptying out a box on the floor and just staring vacantly at all of the pieces before shoving it all back in the box again and I haven’t gone back since 🙌😂

Get back into writing main story again! 🖊️

I did! It took me ages to read through what I’d already written and get back into that mindset again but I really conquered my writing rut for a while before unwillingly retreating back to where I am now. Whenever I am unsure where a story is going I will try to imagine it as a movie and think of where I want it to go next but right now my mind is just blank so I’m not going to force anything. Right now I’m just happy with all I’ve done towards it so far! ✨

Embrace the season through clothing and wear brighter things!

Shortly after I published my bucket list I dedicated a whole day to ironing a load off my clothes (it was pure torture) and I chose what I knew I would wear so as not to waste my time (you can probably guess where this is going 😂) and ended up with hardly any colourful stuff but in all honesty I don’t really own much bright stuff 🤔. Hold on! When I went to see the Spice girls I wore an orange floral jumpsuit does that count? For the purpose of keeping my sanity in touch it does so yippee! 🤣😂

Take more photos with my instax camera

At the time of writing this I can happily say that today I went to the beach and took some photos using my insta camera (it was Toby’s first time there and he loved it! 🐕 Meet Toby HERE if you have no idea who I’m talking about 😂 We were unsure about how he’d be with the sand as he hates stuff getting in between his paws but he didn’t notice the ground was made of a different substance until he almost sank into it which was hilarious 🏖️) Seeing as it’s still Spring I’m gonna say that this adventure counts! 😂.

Wear my second pair of glasses more

It slipped my mind that they existed tbh 😬😂

Style my hair differently 🐩

My hair has been going in the same bun almost every single day unless I’m wearing it down and I haven’t wanted it any other way really. As the weather is getting hotter I will have to get it cut soon and then there we be even less I can do with it but I’m looking forward to having some up and some down!

Thank you for reading! 😉 I can’t wait to share my Summer bucket list with you!! ☀️ Did you set yourself any goals for the past season? How did they go? 😯 Have a wonderful day! 💖

  1. This is such a cute post! 💓These are all really great goals! Excited to read your summer bucket list too!
I totally understand what you mean about the writing part! I love writing fiction stories and haven’t gotten into it in so long. I’ve been having more ideas lately, so that’s really exciting cause I had a writer’s block for so long! Good luck on your writing, Elsie!! 💛

  2. I think you have done an amazing job in achieving some of your goals! 💗 I also have a hard time to complete them. Writing them is much easier lol 😂 I also want to take more pictures with my instax camera.

      1. We are touring UK on a cruise ship. So get in the daytime for the day in Belfast, Cork and Dublin.
Not worked out what to do when there.
Maybe Titanic museum in Belfast but heard it is expensive.
Dublin don’t know whether to do Guinness tour.
Cork no idea. So ideas for any of those place welcomed 🙂

      2. I’ve never been to Belfast before but have heard nothing but good things about the Titanic museum, although it does look pricey for what it is. There is another Titanic museum in Cobh which is an island situated beside Cork Harbour and it is cheaper I think. I’ve only ever been to music events in Cork but in Dublin I would recommend the Wax museum and the escape boat which is costly but worth it! 🙂💚

  3. I agree with the puzzle thing. If I empty the box they almost always go back in unfinished!

I also need to start using my instax more! I’m hoping to take some good photos with it this summer! 📸

    1. Yeah it’s so annoying to have to put them away like that, when I was little I’d leave a puzzle out for ages and say I was going to go back to it but I never did 😂. I hope you get to use yours more this summer and capture loads of memories in the process! ✨ I need to remember to change the settings so that they don’t all come out bleary 😂 Thank you for reading! 😄💛
