Hi everyone! Today I will be writing about something that the majority of bloggers encounter from time to time, low stats! I think stats can be seen as a taboo subject in the blogosphere because no one likes to admit that theirs are down as you think it will make it look like you’re ungrateful for what you have and if you say they’re doing well you don’t want it to come across as showing off (you can’t win! 😂).
Let’s turn that subject on it’s head and say that it’s okay to admit you’re not happy with how things are! Now that’s done you can move forward and figure out a way to fight it….hold on, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own because I’ve already come up with some tips for you on what to do when your stats are low! (I’m on a roll here 😂). Read on to see what they are:
Don’t lose heart
Remember your blog is your happy place (despite it not feeling like it in this moment) and if you can get through half the things you already have in life then you can find a way through this. Giving up because of it is not the answer!
Interact + be alive in the community
Keep on commenting on a post that sparks something inside you and don’t let this get you down/or be the reason you drift away from all of your blogging friends! If you don’t feel like you’re a part of a blogging community check out my post on how to get involved in one HERE! (They are the absolute best and make blogging worthwhile!).
Ask for help
We’ve all been there and it’s refreshing to hear people speak up about it! Others may have some words of wisdom that will help you get through it and see the positive side to it. It always helps to know others have been in similar situations!
Accept that this is a phase you must pass through
You will come out the other side and that is a promise! It’s like most things in life: you can’t go over it, you must go through it!
Take note of any changes you have made
Think! 💭 Is there anything you’ve done differently lately to or with your blog? This alteration may have cost you your stats and so you should change it back (if you want to!) and again keep an eye out to see if things go back to the way they were!
Come up with a plan to implement some new ideas
Get your thinking cap on! 🤠 Go through what you seem to get the best reaction out of and more importantly what you enjoy writing the most, put your ideas onto paper and brainstorm! 🤓
Ask your readers what they would like to see from you
Let your readers know how your feel + what you’re going through and ask them what they personally like to see from you!

Such a good post! 💕 Being alive in the blogging community is so important as it goes two ways not one way. Since I used less tags only 10 and also put a discription by all the images I used the stats are better.

Thank you!! 💖 Mine seem to be up and down all the time but I definitely notice a difference when I hold back on overusing tags 😂

I remember when I started blogging getting discouraged by low stats. I could never quite figure out what was going on and eventually just came to realize that if I wrote simply to bring myself joy, the rest usually followed. Thanks for your honesty and inviting us to explore with you. Vicki
