Twin Peaks Merch Haul (FINALLY!)

My friends, my family, random onlookers who really couldn’t care less, the moment we have all been waiting for has arrived…*que intake of breath whereupon I just about pass out*…I FINALLY got my hands on some Twin Peaks merchandise! (Allow that to settle in after all these years of wishing for it + adding stuff to seasonal bucket lists to no avail 😂).

This was a big thing for me because I don’t like using my bank account details online and so I occasionally pay into my sister’s account to get stuff but I always change my mind so I have to be sure of what I want 😂

I was originally going to order three items, then when I thought delivery would be cheaper I chose four things before having to bring that down to two (as I realized the stuff came from different places despite being on the same site and so delivery was separate prices for each thing 😧) and with that unexpected change I also got a book I’ve had my eye on for a while over on eBay! I mentioned this small haul was on the way in my April Favourites and am very excited to be sharing it with you!

Before I go off on one I should probably explain what Twin Peaks is to those of you who don’t know but I’m RUBBISH at putting brilliant things into words 😧😂 Let’s just say it’s a show about a girl who is found dead and in trying to discover how this occurred a whole new world comes to light beside our own where doppelgangers lurk and nothing is as it seems….I told you I’m not good at this, I don’t write the stuff I just watch it! Anyway here is what I got 😂:

“Welcome to Twin Peaks” Hoodie

This was the main thing that I knew I wanted and also happened to be the last to arrive (I was beginning to think it would never get here as the package tracker was stuck in New York for ages…maybe I just wasn’t giving it enough time tbh 😂). The design is a bit faded in comparison to what I was expecting but I’m a fan so I can’t complain, I’m in love 😂 Of course the weather would suddenly decide to become warmer now that I have a brand spanking new hoodie but I’m still gonna wear it!

When this came in the post I didn’t realize at first as I had been away at college and it got left aside on a unit and the when I did see it I found it smelled of vinegar and I thought it was some kind of sick joke but a leaflet in the package stated it would wash out and was to protect the ink 😌😂 I love the design of it and am instantly reminded of Laura Palmer doing this! I keep singing the Chuck Berry lyrics “meanwhile I was thinking” to myself now though 😂

The secret history of Twin Peaks book

Whenever I’m in a bookstore I always stand reading this book for a long time but have never bought it so when I discovered it was a whole lot cheaper on eBay (only €13 including postage in comparison to the usual €25) I was very pleased with myself for holding out on it! It delves deeper into the world of Twin Peaks and is very interesting. It’s definitely brought me back to when the show was new to me and I had no idea what the heck was going on 😂
