Pet Post: Meet Toby! 🐾

Hello! 🐾 I’m Toby and today I’m taking over Lucy’s (AKA Elsie LMC’s) blog! I wanted to take over the world but she wouldn’t let me so I suppose this is better than nothing.

I’ve heard that I am occasionally mentioned here and I think it’s time I claimed my rights.

Let me fully introduce myself, I’m a 4 year old Cavachon (for a long time my family thought I was a Bichon Frise but when my patches came through it wasn’t meant to be!).

My favourite pastimes include playing fetch at obsessive levels (I feel like i earn my keep this way), catching toys midair, being treated to cheese (which I know as cheesies) and toast, wearing t-shirts to keep me warm, having my bottom scratched and DEEP sleeping in my family’s arms (but they have to stay still or I’ll moan).

Apparently I’m spoiled but that’s not how I see it, I don’t get nowhere near as much attention as I should!

My family have this terribly squeaky voice that they like to pretend is me and I can’t help but wag my tail when they read my mind.

I have two sisters, Ruby is a Labrador and is very LOUD (but no one’s louder than me when I get something into my head) and Skirtsey is a cat. I don’t get to see her much as I go uncontrollably crazy whenever I’m in her presence and it’s totally unbecoming.

I have many nicknames: Tobias, Tobini and Toblerone to name but a few.

I try my best to talk in the language of humans but judging by my family’s reaction they always think something is funny about what I’m saying even if it is me saying they are doing something completely different to how I would do it.

I look like a completely different dog when my hair grows out and I’m all fluffy. I am then taken to the groomers and pampered up to the nine’s!

I could go on talking about myself forever but my owners are getting suspicious and Lucy has noticed I’ve taken her phone so I’ll bid you adieu (being Cavachon I’m half french you see, it’s just one of the many glorious facts about me but we’ll have to save them for another time).
