February Favourite’s 2019 ✨

Hiya peeps! (Look at me trying something new for once by way of greeting 👀 I get the feeling this ones not going to stick 😂). Well it’s that time of the month again (not that time girls 🙄😂), it’s favourites time! 🎉 I was under the impression that February lasts way longer than it actually did so writing this post feels VERY weird let me tell you! Despite this being a short month I built up quite the amount of favourites and it feels good to look back and remember just how eventful things were.

If you’re here on this blog often you may remember me telling you on my Spring bucket list that I don’t know if I’ll fully complete those goals because I’ve been so busy, well today I’m going to be letting the cat out of the bag (poor cat 😂) and telling you why I’m all over the place and I can’t wait to let you know so without further ado here are my February favourites!! 😄

Radox muscle relax peppermint scented bath salts

My sister surprised me with these bath salts and I’m in LOVE 😍 Adding a handful of the stuff to a warm bath instantly softens the water and it is so soothing and calming (especially the peppermint scent 🍭 let’s just pretend the lollipop emoji is peppermint).

Second Act 🍿

I went to the cinema to see this at the beginning of the month with my sister and her friends and found it to be a very easy going, funny movie. The plot was very unique and it was nice to go and see something completely different for once.

Starting driving lessons 🚘

This gave + is giving me such a buzz! I love being behind the wheel although it can be very daunting being in control of a vehicle. I have a post coming very soon all about how my lessons are going so I won’t give anything away today! 😉

Hasbro gaming socks

I had these in my basket on the Penney’s site because I think they’re so cool so I was very excited to see that they had them in stock and just had to get them! Quick question: what is your favorite game – Twister, Hungry hippo’s or Operation? 😯

Camouflage pink shorts

These were only €3 in Penney’s so I grabbed them as they’re gorgeous (luckily I discovered later on that they fit perfectly, I should really check before I buy but I got away with it this time! 😂). There were a couple different coloured camouflage shorts but the pink were the only ones that caught my eye as I think when not khaki the pattern works best with pink.

Starting new course! 📓

Here’s the second big news after starting my driving lessons! If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen that I’ve started a new course! 🤣 After years of studying from home because of my chronic pain I am now getting out and doing a course from a center!! I’m starting slowly with an accounting software module through flexible learning that allows me to learn some parts from home on bad days so I can still keep up and I’m just loving it.

Afterwards I will continue to catch up to a certain level with some modules (not all as I’ve done most before with my home course) before I fingers crossed progress on to advanced. This has all just made me so incredibly happy and I feel like maybe 2019 is the year for getting my life back together and finally learning how to pace.

“Voila” sweatshirt

I came across this sweatshirt in Dunne’s stores and what first caught my eye about it was the fact that I want to build up my dwindling sweatshirt collection what with the weather we are having and the second thing that caught my eye about it is the 3D stitched lettering. I’m very glad I got it and I can see it becoming a staple item that I’ll be wearing a lot because it comes out of the washing wrinkle free 😂

Juice – Lizzo 🎶

This song will be my favourite forever so I feel bad just adding it to my February favourites alone but I have to pay homage to it somehow! 😂 It’s just so feel good and as soon as I heard it I had to learn the lyrics to sing along and that hasn’t happened in ages. I just love it and now I’ll stop talking as I’ll get repetitive 🤐😂

A star is born 📽️

I didn’t know what to expect going into this movie after all the hype surrounding it but I really enjoyed it and loved the music!

Loreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay shampoo

The first time I used this shampoo was when my sister lent hers to me and I loved it so much that when I ran out of shampoo (we never run out of conditioner in the house 😂) I went and got some more of the stuff! It leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and doesn’t flatten my curls (which I don’t know why but some shampoos do). It also smells delicious (does anyone else think that haircare brands should sell candles of their product fragrances because I do and it’s not enough just sniffing the bottles anymore 💆😂).

Thank you for reading! 😉 What were your February favourites? I’d love to know so be sure to head on over to the comments and have a beautiful day 💞

  1. What a beautiful post! 💖 I loved to read your favourites and what you are up to. I have to start driving lessons once in my life but I’m so anxious. I’m happy you are doing well ❤️. I love Twister and I love the Voila sweatshirt. The letters look so awesome 😍 So great that you saw the movie a star is born. I cried watching it and loved it so much. Shallow is my fav song ever.

    1. Thank you so much! 😄 My last driving lesson was two weeks ago and I’m nervous to book the next one now but I don’t know why. Twister is amazing, I’m wearing the Voila t-shirt today to a Bastille concert 🎶 A star is born was a really good movie ❤️
