Looking up at the stars

It is easier to believe we are not alone

we’re just far away.

Millions of others are doing the same

perhaps at the same time

for many the stars aren’t visible
But they’re still there.

Masked by the light

Only showing through the dark times

always there for a reason.

  4. Beautifully written Elsie! I think they’re like the people who are there for us. It’s only when we’re clouded in darkness that they guide us through it. I always think that when all is well, it’s easy to get along with a lot of people, but when life is difficult, when all is dark, we’ll see our real friends, family, who will give light i the darkness… xoxo Sarah
