12 days of Xmas 2018: Day 1 – My 2 year blogiversary + inside out!

Hi elf-ryone! 💚 (Do you see what I did there? Well I’m gonna keep on doing it for the entirety of this series because it’s not everyday I’m inspired to think up something like that! 😂). Today we are kicking off 12 days of Xmas with a BANG 💥…. I’ll let you just gather your thoughts after that loud sound…ITS MY 2 YEAR BLOGIVERSARY!!

In order to celebrate I have found a poem that I was saving for a momentous occasion (and if this isn’t one of those I don’t know what is! 😂). This poem is about the blogging community and the massive support you have all been for me. There is no way I could possibly describe the happiness you guys have shown me over these past 2 years and it means the absolute world so I thought a poem would be the best way for me to let it out and show you.

In a way you could call this festive in that it’s about friendship which is important around this time of year. It is called “inside out” because I feel like that is how we as bloggers get to know each other, through our minds and not through our faces like how you usually would meet someone. Here goes everything! 😂

Inside out

You know me

and I like to think I know you

yes there is a tiny fragment missing from the equation

but life might not have granted us the chance of meeting the other way round.

I’m slightly pleased because I don’t want to disappoint.

I want to cheer you on from the sidelines and call you friend

Spend time filtering through even the most difficult parts of our minds and clicking on send.

Whilst sharing the best and the worst we’ve watched each other grow

to a point that makes my heart burst when I see your personality glow.

Thank you for making me feel human and “normal” whatever that is

Because from now on I finally feel like I can do this.
