The smallest haul you ever did see! 😂🛍

Hi everyone! How is your week going so far? ❤ I haven’t been very well recently what with flare-ups and starting new migraine medication but last week in preparation for my dad’s birthday this coming Thursday I had a snoop around TK Maxx 👀 And I came away with some gems that I cannot wait to share with you!

There are 3 things to chat about which makes this the smallest haul you ever did see from me, that’s for sure! (For some reason I find it incredibly necessary to explain the title of this post! 😂). Let’s get into this before I lose my train of thought and start chatting about how I would love to go on a train (because I really would! 🚞😂). Well sure I went on a Christmas themed one with my family when I was a toddler (and I later ruined a nice picture of the memory in aid of a scrapbook that didn’t work out) and I’ve been on the Luas in Dublin but that was standing and I mean one where you sit down and enjoy the journey as well as the day you’ve planned once you reach your destination! ✨….what were we talking about? Oh yeah the haul, here we go! 🙈😂

Food Cat socks 🐈

Starting with these food cat socks that remind me of Nyan cat! I found them hanging on a sales stall and they weren’t exactly in the sale at €5.99 but by then I’d already decided to throw caution to the wind and get them 🌬 I bet that’s a sales tactic: put random stuff in the sales aisle so that people become invested in them before realizing they’re not actually on sale and of course I would fall for it! How could I not? They’re so cute, I can’t wait to wear them! They feature the usual stuff you see your cats with: avocados…donuts… watermelons 😂

2019 monthly planner 🦄

This “stay magical” 17 month pocket planner hasn’t left my side since I bought it! Okay so I admit I already have a larger planner but that ends on December of this year whereas this one ends in December next year and starts now! It has smaller squares for writing in daily doings and so my bigger planner will go into more detail (as I track certain things in there aswell…hold on it almost sounds like I have a bullet journal going on there 😯 a girl can dream 😂).

The planner is chock-a-block with motivational quotes accompanied by aesthetically pleasing art and I just love it 😍 The pages have a delicate card texture and it feels like a real treasure (I would have made a great pirate, I know where all the stuff you don’t really need can be found….well until I forget anyway 😂). There were a few other themes to choose from in store like mermaids, sloths (surprisingly I wasn’t tempted by the sloth one as the logo was a bit plain in comparison) and rabbits but after carrying around the mermaid design with me I decided the unicorn was by far my favourite!

pencil case 📏

And last but by no means least, a pencil case that says the word “blog” on it!!….well it says “loooong time, no blog” but all I really had to see was “blog” to want it 😏😂 After buying mine for only €3.99 there were two left so in a perfect world they would be purchased by another blogger (although I don’t think there are any in my area 🙁) or inspire future bloggers and then I can track them down, mention the fact that we are both bloggers and that we have the same pencil case sparking a beautiful friendship with them…..because that doesn’t sound stalkerish at all! It’s not like I put trackers in the cases or anything to make this dream into a reality….😐🙄 *Runs of to remove trackers hidden within plain sight of said pencil cases* 😂. Anywho! I’ve already filled it with pens for my course and it provides much needed eye candy for when I go off daydreaming! 😂🍬 (I basically paid not to focus on what’s important 🤔😂).
