Spring Inside

Spring has arrived and the days are still

I’m here somewhere, happy inside

Grinning like I was when autumn was glowing

Winter kept me locked up for internal warmth

Stark differences have this one similarly.

It is in Spring that I’m smiling either way because for once this beauty is not a figment of my imagination.

By a window I sit as a stardust like substance floats to the ground under the gentle watch of the sun behind

The difference is that I wouldn’t mind if I had to sit here forever and stare I would choose to do that

In this moment it is all I can do and yet knowing that one day there will be a choice stops time and impatience

Spring inside knows no boundaries as it falls into each room forcing recognition not asking or else who’s to say it would have as much of an impact on the senses?

I had forgotten how spring makes me feel inside.

Thank you for reading! 😊 I was unsure whether or not this was going to be a poem or an update about the weather that is making life feel so magical despite bad flare-ups and it kind of ended up being both! 😂 I wanted to end each sentence with a word beginning with the same letter as the first as I don’t think I’ve ever done that before so it’s something different for Spring! 🌻 I hope you’re safe in whatever weather you’re in and having a beautiful day! 🤗❤
