Hi everyone! How is your 2018 self today? I don’t know why I wanted to say that, I wrote it when I first drafted this post and decided to stick with it! 😂 before I start I want to say a big thank you to everyone who liked/commented on my last post! I am out of touch with that side of my emotions stemming from my health as it’s easier to not even acknowledge them and I don’t know, almost give the source more strength through dwelling on it and so it was a wonderful feeling and a great relief to receive such support for letting it out 🤗❤
Now! is it just me or was January surprisingly slow? I want to keep that part of my 2017 monthly favourites where I started off by mentioning how fast the year was going by but this time I’ll change it and instead be saying how January took its time (and in a good way too)! 😂 It’s not like I’ve been busy but I’ve had at least one or two positive things happen each week so far so I’m probably thinking the year is going by slowly because unlike past years when I haven’t kept a planner I can now see that time is being accounted for and used somewhat wisely when possible. January has brought with it some definite favourites and I’ve been looking forward to sharing them with you (so much that a few nearly made it onto my December favourites just so I could’ve written about them! 😂) so without further ado here we go!
Quiz Floral Jumpsuit

I got this jumpsuit at the beginning of the year in the January sales from Debenhams and it was…wait for it….€12!! 😲 I gave it the complete once over to check for anything wrong and there isn’t anything so I grabbed it. I plan on wearing it in the summer when I hopefully go back over to England again. I’m without a doubt more comfortable wearing stuff like this over there as unless you go far out from where I live there’s no reason to wear this without standing out like a sore thumb in a world full of…not sore thumbs 😐😂 Well I don’t know what’s around the corner so I might get to wear it sooner than I think. I’ve already tried it on and I love it! It stops and flares out at my ankles and makes me feel really confident.
Churros + Overnight oats
I shared both of these recipes to my blog in January! The churros (which you can find HERE!) have since become my favourite treat if I can get to them quick enough (I shouldn’t leave out a bowl of cinnamon sugar beside them as it just tempts too many people, myself included 😂). And the overnight oats (HERE) are a healthy, refreshing way to welcome a new day (it’s almost like having dessert for breakfast 😋 what would that be called?…Bressert?..that doesn’t sound too good now that I think about it 😂).
The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher

Okay so I know this is a Christmas book and Christmas was last year (weird to look at it that way isn’t it!? 😂) but after receiving this as a Christmas present I made a pact with myself to only read it before I go to sleep as it was a really relaxing book, it set the tone for my festive dreams and of course I wanted to make Christmas last for as long as I could 😂. Whenever I could convince myself to do so I would read only a chapter a night and this made the book last longer than I expected so I didn’t finish it until the very first few days of January but it was worth the long haul I’ll tell you that! 😂
The Greatest Showman 🍿
There are no words to describe how amazing The Greatest Showman is!! (I did have some words but I used them in the review I wrote that I didn’t think deserved to even be called a review HERE 😂). Since I wrote that post my friend has been to see the movie and the soundtrack is all we’ve talked about 😂 I was going to say that all movies should be this good but then how would we give this one the extra credit it deserves for being better than the rest of them then? 🤔😂
Beat Goodie Bag

My sister won tickets to go to a meet and greet/private album launch party through Beat radio for the band The Academic and she brought me back this goodie bag! 😆 It has a Beat logo sticker, a ball (I think it’s a ball? Either way I have to keep it away from Toby, he thinks anything spherical belongs to him 🙄🐕😂), a big rain mack, a pen and a keyring!
Bath bombs!
I used a couple of bath bombs and other bomb cosmetics products throughout January and have shared two reviews so far. There was the flock star bath bomb and the gingerbread man bath bomb! I have notes reviewing the other 3 products that I used coming soon! 😉 (They are the: Sea salt soap, Pool Party bomb and Cooltide blaster! 😍) Bath bombs are too calming to write about let alone use so as to have something to write about so I have saved these 3 reviews for February 😂 Even though they were used in January I plan on having them up in my February favourites once they’ve been typed out and posted on here!
Thank you for reading! 😉 What was your number one favourite in January? Let me know and have a lovely day! ❤
Lovely post. That floral jumpsuit looks so pretty and comfortable. Would be hard not to be confident on them. Once of those clothes that just makes you stand taller, and raise your chin higher 😅

Thank you so much! ❤ It’s so pretty, I’ve wanted a jumpsuit for a while and never knew what to look for but knew when I saw this one (the price helped with the decision of course 😂)
