Update + Mini Clothing Haul!

Hi everyone! How are you? I have signal/electricity back! (I’ve announced it everywhere possible for me since Thursday so I feel silly saying it again but it’s too much for me to handle after thinking it wouldn’t come back! 🙈😂) Although I think we have seen the last of hurricane Ophelia, today hurricane Brian is to taking place 😦 which luckily is supposed to be way less windy than Ophelia was! This might mean that electricity could go again but we are keeping everything crossed that it won’t 😂 as to get it back last time a helicopter was flying quite low by our house checking in a field for damaged wires we didn’t even know were there! And I doubt whoever sent them out to fix it will do it again on the odd chance it happens after Brian rolls in just to be sure the power won’t go again after that 😂 anyway enough of my rambles!

I’m glad to be properly back here as it hurt not being able to reply to your comments on previous posts until the power came back, I would see what you said and they wouldn’t load properly and I didn’t want to leave you with no reply to your lovely messages so there was a massive amount of relief when I set aside time to reply after the power came back! 😄 After that not so mini update 😂 here is my mini clothing haul!

A couple of weeks ago my mum and I went shopping in a centre quite far away from where we live (where all the good shops are 😂) and had a lot of fun just taking our time going to the shops we had planned to go to and a few I had never been in before (like pull and bear where I got the majority of the clothes in this haul! 😂) I came away with a few good bits and I can’t wait to share them with you here! When I bought these clothes I had no idea a storm was coming our way but most of them can be worn in this cold weather regardless of that thank goodness 🙈😂

Pull and Bear Paperbag trousers with tied belt 😍

I have been yearning for a pair of these trousers for so long but I had no idea where I could get them as I don’t shop online! (I make it difficult for myself I really do 😂) when I saw these for €20 in pull and bear I couldn’t leave them there (especially as they were the last ones in my size). I had no idea pull and bear were so good for prices as this was not only my first trip there but they are new to the shopping centre itself so I’d never thought about them before 😂 the quality of their clothing is amazing and I’m so happy that I got them. They fit perfectly and end at my ankles (i sashayed around the place when I tried them on at home they’re so comfy 🙈😂). I didn’t try them on in store because the changing room doors were swinging without a lock 😬 It was so embarrassing, I asked to go in and came out a second later after not trying them on through fear of putting on a show and bumped into the shop assistant I’d spoken to 🙈 it was obvious to her I hadn’t tried them on in such a short space of time so she probably thought I’d pocketed something 😂 so I paid and got out of there! (At least I managed to maintain the air of a paying customer around her 😂).

Pull and Bear “chat with me (I am your therapist)” t-shirt

I can’t help but say the quote on this top in a creepy voice that would send pennywise packing “chat with me..I am your therapist” 😂 this t-shirt along with the other tshirt from pull and bear in this haul was €4!! I couldn’t believe it. I think it goes really well with the striped trousers. I got the next size up as it looked really tight and love how it looks with the bottom half tucked into them whilst still baggy!

Pull & Bear tailored houndstooth trousers

The photo of these trousers does them no justice! This was the first thing I picked up in pull and bear and their elastic waist band fits snugly. These were also €20 and although they may not look as worth the price as the striped trousers I have worn them more than them so far! 😂 The material is so durable and feels like it will last ages and not loose colour easily.

I admit I don’t understand what this t-shirt says 🙈😂 but I can’t help but be attracted to tshirts with writing! It is an off white so goes perfectly with the houndstooth trousers above! I like to mix and match the words on it and see what I come up with 😂

H & M Blue shirt

This shirt was the first item I bought in this haul as I originally only wanted to go to h&m to look at clothes until I saw pull and bear and got drawn in 🙈😂 (This was the shirt I was wearing in my haircut post). I was excited to go h&m because I found a plain fitted shirt in my wardrobe that my sister gave to me last year (it still had the tags on but she let me have it…that’s love 😂) and I just felt a sudden urge to go there and see what other nice stuff they had 😂 this blue shirt was €10 and it feels so soft! It has a kind of flowery Paisley design and it just hangs down. I have worn it with a vest underneath and it oddly kept me warm in the cold weather 😂 although as I write these last words the wind is picking up to be stronger outside as storm Brian settles in 😬 maybe this top will still deserve praise for warmth underneath two hoodies? We shall see.. 😂
