Hi everyone! Looking for a new hobbie or just curious as to why I wrote this post? There were times this year when I thought I didn’t have any hobbies, so when the dreaded question “what are your hobbies?” came up I froze. The first things that came to mind were writing and reading, but when I said these people would look at me like “those aren’t hobbies”. So i had a go at discovering new hobbies. But now I realise that throughout writing this list and trying to do new things writing is my passion. I mean “writing” a damn list should have been my first pointer! But then I love writing lists as well. And it made the year fun learning Italian, how to swim (had to someday!) and starting this blog! I guess what I’m trying to say is that you have to question things you love in order to find whats right for you. So without further ado here’s my possible hobbies list! Enjoy!

Thanks for reading! What are your hobbies? 😉
I guess I have several hobbies. Most are sports related because they’ve played a significant role in my life. I come from a competitive family but we’re so close to one another that it’s not just about the sport anymore, it’s about quality time with the boys.
We golf and play softball in the spring and summer. In the winter months, the women of our dynamic family get involved by partaking in a mixed doubles bowling league.
I have created some expensive hobbies for myself but i can’t complain because I spend time with my best friends every weekend, my family.

! My most recent is learning Italian, much more easier to learn a language at your own pace than at school.

Yeah! It’s not forced into you by a teacher so you learn it at your own pace however you want. I use the app “mango” and take down notes from it as I learn a new word/phrase and it’s much more fun 😊💗

Thank you so much!💋 I was learning Italian myself! I use to go on this site called livemocha to learn it, but it’s no longer in use😣 so I use an app called Duolingo, which is quite good🤗 how do you learn languages?😊

I’m using the mango languages app which is free if you use your library card. It’s really good and gives mini lessons that stick in your head. What’s Duolingo like? I wish I knew about all of these language apps when I was in school, they work allot better than textbooks did haha 😀

You can learn so many different languages on the app! So basically, you have different lessons and there are mini lessons in those lessons.. (sorry of it sounds confusing). so the first thing you’d learn would be, Basics 1. And in basics one, you’d have separate lessons, the first one would be learning about what objects have which gender and how to write and pronounce them. When you do well in the test, you move up a lesson and its slightly more challenging 🤗

I might give that app a go, something new for the new year! Mango app doesn’t do tests so Duolingo sounds better 🙂

Ah I see😊 when you download Duolingo and choose whichever language (you can learn more than one at one time) you can do a placement test🤗 so you can skip some lessosn if you already know the basics! x

Thank you for letting me know! I tried learning it on an app called bravolol languages but was rubbish and was more like a dictionary than being taught. I hope to learn German this year, apps make it so much more fun 😂

I agree that apps are great! Recently, I was using a site to learn my languages! You basically set up an account filling in the details on the languages you can speak and at what level. Then you choose the languages you want to learn. The site then tries to match you up (or you can search), for the people who can speak the language you want to learn, and you can teach the language they want to learn🤗 it was a good idea but it’s harder than the apps as you’re conversing with an actual person and sometimes skype is needed for pronunciation!!🤗

That sounds good! I never knew there were so many ways to learn languages 😂 true, listening to the accents are very helpful. I probably wouldn’t know what to say to the people teaching the language 😂
