Peppermint tea – 3 different ways! From yay to yuck 🤣

Hi everyone! Do you ever feel tempted to make something you like into something you love?…no?…well thats what I’m gonna talk about today so become acquainted with the idea please! 😅 I love a good cup of peppermint tea (not as much as a chai latte but its healthier so is my go-to for now!) and if not that then chamomile and within the time span of the last two weeks I wanted to bring it up a level because why not? I’d say every year I go through a phase of liking herbal teas and they are the best resort when you want a treat with no caffeine! I recently tried peppermint tea 3 different ways and of course I had to jump on the blog and chat about it!

The first thing I tried was a normal hot peppermint tea. I was using up some bags that I don’t know the brand of and then we got Barry’s peppermint tea and my world opened up to a whole new freshness of flavour! 💚 Peppermint tea is such a simple thing and yet it can feel so refreshing, especially if you want a quick drink before you go to bed or need an afternoon pick-up!

Then another day I attempted an iced peppermint tea in a tall cup and I know that doesnt sound of anything that special but it actually took me by surprise (it also gave me a bit of a headache but we won’t go there 🤣). Having the tea iced felt like a nice extra step to do for myself and it tasted really nice. It tasted extra strong but not in a bad way. I don’t think this will be a first AND last kinda situation, I’mma make it again and again!

Then I’d say a week later I was in a mad scientist kinda mood and knew that I wanted something sweet but I didn’t want to have syrup in a decaff coffee for that kick, I wanted something different. So I popped a peppermint teabag in my fav mug and hit boil on the kettle! Then after adding water I added soy milk and honey! 🍯 I’d googled beforehand to see if milk could go in with peppermint tea and was told yes and alternative is best and we always have soy milk for a variety of reasons (my sis used to be vegan and my mum prefers soy in her coffee!).

Now…I won’t lie, it wasn’t as tasty as I was hoping for it to be 🫢. It didn’t blend well together but I reckon I could test out different ways and really make it work! It was kind of yucky but not in a oh I’m gonna puke kinda way, more in a: okay I won’t do that combo again kinda way 😬🤣. But at least I tried it!

This isn’t the end of the peppermint adventure train, I just know it! Do you like herbal tea? It can be so nice sometimes! What is your fav type? Grab a cup of tea and come join me over on The Cosy Corner where I share exclusive audios such as the last 5 youtubers I watched for all my fellow nosy peeps to my autumn bucket list and night routine ✨️ You won’t wanna miss it! 💫

I’ve gotta go now but I will dutifully return when more herbal escapades take place 🫡🤣. I hope you have a nice day/week until we meet again! Take care, stay safe and buh-bye ✨️💗.

  1. You know, tea always sounds so calming and I always say I should drink more of it… but then I go and drink coffee, le sigh! We have a lemon herbal tea in the cupboard that is really tasty and it’s my go-to for herbal tea as I’m not a fan of peppermint!
