Hi everyone! How are you doing today? π it feels weird adding to this series since I actually started drinking decaff coffee when I used to say “having” coffee to hide behind drinking something else but times are changing! π€£ I will still say “having” tho as I prefer chai lattes so that is what I’m drinking for this chat! What about you? βοΈ
There’s a lot for us to talk about today so imma just set the scene! It’s currently nighttime as I’m typing and I can hear raindrops hitting the roof, I’d love for this to be the space where we meet so we’re in a cosy cafe that is kinda futuristic because people from all over the world (us) can turn up purely by envisioning the vibe β¨οΈ. We’re “having” coffee and I would tell you that….
I tried dubai chocolate and it was soo yummy! I think it’s trial and error as my sister has tried the one from Tesco and apparently theirs doesn’t taste as nice but the one I tried was from a Polish market store and it was a lovely treat! I think it can be nice and crunchy π.
If we were “having” coffee I would ask if you’ve tried any random chocolate combos and have you heard of angel hair chocolate? They’re filled with Turkish cotton candy!! π (I’m yet to try one but as you can tell, I’m already in love π€£).
If we were “havjng” coffee I would casually tell you that I started my next marketing course and I say this casually trying to ignore the fact that I’ve been procrastinating since January but we’re here now! π I finally started after needing something to distract my mind from something difficult and it’s really helped!! I love learning and I’m actually finding what I’m taking in interesting which surprised me as I was worried it would all go over my head and I wouldn’t take it in. The course has quizzes and I’m currently on unit 2. I’m slightly nervous about a project but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it!
If we were “having” coffee I would ask how you’re doing and try not to cower in shame that it took me this long into the chat to ask! π« π€£
If we were “having” coffee I would let you know that I’m going to London in May! I know that’s very open-ended as I could be going anywhere (London’s a big place!) but I can’t say where exactly for privacy reasons. My sister has an event to attend so I guess you could say I’ll be her chaperone and it will be our first time on a plane!! We are being put up in a hotel and our aunt is going to spend the trip with us (driving us there and the night too at the hotel). I can’t wait to see her and spend time with her!! π
If we were “having” coffee I would ask if you have any tips for first time flyers?? π We’re thinking of getting travel sickness tablets just incase but we don’t know much more so any help would be appreciated!
If we were “having” coffee I would bow my head in shame and say I thought I had to pay the library β¬94 as I’d had books out for so long but luckily they said they don’t take money anymore π thank goodness. I really need to stay ontop of these things! π
If we were “having” coffee I would tell you about how my sister got a car so we’ve been ladies about town! π€£ Do you remember when I wrote about her first car here? Well that never got used for various reasons so I guess you could say that this is her first proper car! I love the adventures we go on and they involve tkmaxx more often than not π€£.
On the subject of tkmaxx, If we were “having” coffee I would tell you about how I kind of became a bit obsessed with getting birthday gifts and fathers day gifts early as I’m going to be busy later in the year and I fear I won’t have time. It became a bit mad but I’ve more or less stopped myself now and realised that looking and planning doesn’t have to involve buying as of yet! My savings hate me right now ππ but a few of the presents are crafted so I’m not in the red….yet π€£.
If we were “having” coffee I would ask, how soon do you prepare gifts for others? I like being ready and I think that fear kind of came at me and it went a bit overboard tbh.
If we were “having” coffee I’d stop for a moment and allow us to take in our surroundings. I can still hear raindrops hitting against the roof. There’s meant to be thunder but I’d there is, I haven’t heard it. Maybe I have selective hearing ππ€£. I know we’re both at the same cosy cafe but where you are right now (physically), is there anything like the rain you can hear or see that calms you? π§
Our chat doesn’t have to end there, let’s take it to the comments! π
I enjoyed myself, I really should do more of these! If you made it this far, put this emoji π§ in the comments so I know you’re a real one!
I’ve gotta go now but I will see you around! Hope you have a lovely day/night, take care, stay safe and buh-bye! β¨οΈπ
This post felt like a warm hug π₯Ή I loved the cosy cafΓ© vibe, the chai latte mention (my fave too!), and all the little life updates. So proud of you for starting your courseβeven if it took a while, you did it and thatβs what matters! π
This honestly made me smile. Thanks for sharing your heart π
