Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing something I’ve really been loving lately, a super easy recipe I have been using to make the best airfryer potatoes (and no, I don’t take that bold statement lightly. I mean it! 😉🤣). This is a recipe for garlic, honey & mustard crispy cube potatoes that you can find HERE on the Jamie Oliver website (adapted from The Actually Delicious Airfryer Cookbook by Poppy Cooks) but I’ve altered it and made it even easier and better! 😋 (in my oh so humble opinion). You’re gonna love it if you’re looking for something that’s hearty & flavourful! Let’s jump right on in to the recipe:
Ingredients
- 4-6 potatoes (I used red skin ones) cut into cubes.
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- 1 & a 1/2 teaspoons of ready chopped garlic (the origonal recipe calls for a bulb but I found it didn’t cook as fast as they claimed so I altered it!).
- 1-2 tablespoons runny honey
- 1-2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard
Method
- Put the potatoes in a mixing bowl and mix with a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt.
- Heat the airfryer to 180°C
- Put the potatoes into the airfryer (I always add a baking sheet liner so there’s less to wash up!). Cook them for 20 minutes and then give them a shake.
- Turn up the airfryer to 190°C and cook the potatoes for 15 more minutes (it’s trial and error tbh as the original recipe calls for less time but they don’t cook that darn fast!).
- While the potatoes finish cooking, heat up the garlic in the microwave in a microwavable safe bowl eith a lid (or a plate balanced ontop) for 30 seconds.
- Then add the garlic, honey and mustard into a mixing bowl and mix together with a pinch of salt.
- When the potatoes are done, add them into the bowl and toss it all together! You’ve only gone and done it 😯🤣.

What drew me back to this recipe was that garlic, honey and mustard are all meant to be good for the flu apparently so naturally I jumped on it (thank you guys for all of your well wishes on my last post! 💗).
If you end up trying it I hope you like the taste as much as I do! It packs a serious punch, I can’t believe I ignored how good mustard can be (I used to just have it on hot dogs but now I’m converted and wanna try it in other things! Are there any recipes you would recommend with it?).
I’ve gotta go now but I hope you enjoyed today’s post and that it pushes you to try something new (I also hope that you have an airfryer, that would help! 🤔🤣). I’ll see you around the blogosphere! Stay safe, take care and buh-bye ✨️💗
Mmm these look so good! I love potatoes! I’m not a fan of yellow mustard, but Dijon mustard, so good!

Looks absolutely delicious! I love potatoes and I eat them almost daily in some way. I don’t eat honey, though ( I don’t like the taste) so can you substitute with something else that’s sweet?

I’d say you definitely can substitute it with something else, apparently brown sugar is a good substitute so perhaps some of that mixed with a teaspoon of water heated up and poured over? 🤔

Sounds like a good idea. I might try that then!

Maybe more water than a teaspoon now that I think about it but I hope you like it!! 😄✨️
