I’m quitting bookstagram 📚

Hi you guys! How are you doing? Ready for a blog post where the secret I mentioned the other day is revealed? Well, as you can tell by the title, I wasn’t joking around 😅 I am in fact quitting bookstagram. I’m just gonna jump right in and explain why! I started posting bookish pics back in January 2024 to my Instagram account and lately I haven’t been consistent with it for a number of reasons (mostly the fact that I am in a reading rut and also life has been getting in the way).

I’ve lost interest in just posting pictures of books and that’s okay, it’s just one of those things. I recently felt motivated to make my Instagram about my life & blog again so that is what I am going to do! ☺️

Today I uploaded a post over on my Instagram explaining the change over so it’s official! 🤯 Having a bookstagram account was nice while it lasted and I’m glad I got to try it out! Don’t get me wrong, I will still post some bookish content but that won’t consume my feed. Now that I think about it, around Christmas time I posted a festive chai latte reel so you guys probably saw this coming as that was nothing to do with books! 🙈🤣

So now we’re looking at you! What was the last thing you quit doing? Are you glad that you did? Let me know! I’m certainly glad as this gives me more freedom to post what I want. I’m gonna be honest tho, I don’t get as inspired to post insta pics as I do to write blog posts so I’m not gonna be there every day but I’m going to try my best and that’s all I can do!

And there we have it! That was my sorta secret 🤫/announcement! I’m excited to see where this new avenue takes me (in a creative kinda way ✨️).   1. I hope you find inspiration in posting other photos and make instagram fun again ✨ This post reminded me of the hobby I had that I quit because I wasn’t inspired anymore. Maybe I just have to find new ways to make it fun again. 🥰✨

  4. You have to do what is best/works for you. Good look on this next journey. I’ve been trying to think of something I’ve quit but the only thing coming to mind is X(Twitter) I deactivated my account and everything.
