I’m back!! I have some news for you too 🫢

Hi everyone, I’m back!! Can I get a hell yeah? (…..no? Okay well that’s cool I guess 😅). How are you? 💗 On this post I had a lil chat with you guys about how the blog upgrade was going and aside from a few things I’m still getting the hang, it’s done and like I said then, I am officially the owner of a .com website having gone Premium with WordPress! 🥳 It feels weird saying that as I went so many years worried I’d never do it over fear of something going wrong and although there were some hiccups, I’m in a good place right now!

I went through all 730 of my blog posts and updated the links to my new domain which took a long time but was worth it and I did something I didn’t know was already available to me, I set up a donations page incase you’re feeling generous and would like to contribute to the running of my blog 🫡💗. I have so much media space with WordPress Premium now that I don’t know what to do with myself! I was previously up to around 98% on the free WordPress so this newfound freedom feels very exciting and I can’t wait to get to creating posts for you! 😊 I have some posts I’m looking forward to sharing on the way so stick around, say hi and if you see this, pop a 👋 emoji in the comments!

My chronic pain has been all over the place lately and I don’t want to seem like I’m going on about it but I’ve gotta be honest, I miss my dog Toby so much. Grief is hard but I heard a quote the other day that makes me think about it in a nice way: Grief is love’s souvenir (correct me if I’m wrong but I think it was said by Glennon Doyle Melton but I heard it on The Bachelor which my sister and I are obsessed with 🤣). Anyway, I don’t want to bring down the mood but I fear I already have 🤔. Wait! I know what will turn this around…..

Time for some news! 🎀 (put a bow on it and make it all pretty and stuff 😂). I am now on Bluesky (here) and after almost 4 years I logged back into X (here) which was Twitter the last time I used it 🤣. Are you on Bluesky? Come follow me! I’m trying to compare the two apps and whether or not I should create a Threads account. My mind has been full of social media platforms lately 🤣. I just want to have various places where I can share what’s going on so I’d love to see you over on X and/or Bluesky! (And also try to understand what makes Bluesky different 🤔).

I really wanna know how you’re doing! What have you been up to? I’ve been keeping up with reading some of your blog posts, it’s tough to keep me away! (It’s giving: stalker vibes – but we’ll try to ignore that 🙌🤣). I’m so excited to be back blogging!! When I was going through all of my old posts and updating links it was like taking a stroll down memory lane and it was so nice discovering posts I’d forgotten about and seeing how lost I got in writing to you ✨️. The blogosphere can be such a magical place to be and I’m glad to be back in it!

Although we are drawing this post to a close, let’s not have this be an ending, this is only the beginning! We’re about to embark on a cosy journey through the medium of blogging and I can’t wait for it to begin…oh wait, it already has! Okay I’m just confusing myself here but you know what I mean 😂. I’ve gotta go now but I hope you’re as excited as I am or if not, that’s okay, I can be excited enough for the both of us (I’ve had my caffeine fix for the day in the form of a chai latte and I’m good to go! 🫡🤣).
