Listen up now
do you want to know a secret?
Come closer before I disallow
It’s been so hard to keep it.
Nobody cares
I’m not joking, it’s true.
They aren’t perusing your wares
people have got better things to do
like living their own lives
and facing their own insecurities
whilst your fear thrives
alongside other obscurities.
Please remember this fact
the next time you’re out
life is too jam-packed
for worry to sprout.
Now don’t get me wrong
there’s another side to caring
the people that have been there all along
it is love they are declaring.
These people adore you
and care is their game
so treat them well too
and they’ll do the same.
That is all I have to say
and I hope it hits home
now go on with your day
with one less worry for your mind to roam.

Hi everyone! I wrote this poem a while back and wasn’t planning on sharing it on my blog at the time but then I thought it’s been a while since I’ve really shared anything that could be considered motivational so I wanted to put it out there. I hope you like it and it gets you thinking and believing those words are true. I know the meaning behind it is easier said than done but I hope it hits home a bit and inspires you to live your own life as everyone else is living theirs ✨️.
