Hello! How are you? 💗 Today was a lovely sunny day here where I live in Ireland and I thought it would be nice to try out a kit a friend got me. I made a lavender sugar & salt body scrub and it was so simple and fun to do! I keep telling people it’s bath salt when it’s actually a body scrub 🤣. I think the fact that it’s a body scrub is more interesting as it’ll be more of a test as to whether or not the consistency is good on skin and how it leaves it feeling. Let me tell you how I made it!

To begin with I placed sugar, himalayan rock salt, Epsom salt and French clay into a large mixing bowl. The sugar and salt were quite rocky so I crushed it all together which was fun 🤣.
Then, using a pipette I added lavender fragrance oil to what was meant to be almond oil but was actually castor oil (are they the same thing? I don’t know 🤔). I then mixed them together!
Next I poured that over the first mixture and stirred it well before adding the dried lavender and stirring to combine it all. At this point it smelled so good!! 😍

I the spooned it into a tin the kit provided. I thought there was too much of it at first but then it all started to fit.

Then the very last thing to do was to personalise a sticker to go on the tin but there was actually no sticker to be found in the box so I wrote on the tin in sharpie instead which I’m kinda annoyed about now as I won’t be able to reuse it for anything else 😤. Whatever, I’ll rub off the damn sharpie if I have to 🤣.

And there we have it! Some homemade body scrub is good to go 😂. I can’t wait to use it! Maybe I should do a review of it when I do!
It’s been so long since I last did any sort of craft, no wait…I made a vision board the other day!! So to rephrase that, it’s not been that long at all 🤣. What was the last crafty/DIY thing you made? Let me know in the comments below!
I’ll be off now! I’ll see you again next week for another post. I hope you have the best weekend and do something for yourself! 💖 buh-bye now! ✨️xx
That looks so great and fun to make!

That’s fun. I would love to know how it performs? Also you can use rubbing alcohol to get sharpie off of things. Idk if it will remove it from everything but every time I done it it has worked.
