My Blog Goals 2024! 🎉

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first post of 2024! (That feels wild to say 😵‍💫). Happy New year loves! 🥳 Today I thought it might be a fun idea to share some of the blogging goals I have for 2024! I may not complete them all but I always think that by saying them and putting them out there I’ve got more of a chance of actually doing them so here we are! 🤣 It’s been a long, long time since I last shared goals for my blog but it just feels right to do so now. Let’s jump right on in, starting with:

Upgrade to a new plan

The time has finally come 😅🤣. This year I’d like to upgrade to a new WordPress plan! I’ve only just gotten back into looking up what’s available and I’ve found that it’s no longer called the premium plan, its the explorer plan now 🤯. I’ve got loads of research to do before I make the jump but this is the year for it as I’m running out of media space on this free plan! I worry about if everything will transfer over smoothly and also how a domain will work, like should I purchase one through WordPress or elsewhere 🤔.

Keep up with the series on my blog

I’ve got quite a few series going on right now on my blog like the food I’ve made recently series and my blind date with a book series which I’m really enjoying doing! I’d love, love, LOVE to keep them going as they add a whole new vibe to the blog I think! One that’s creating something that sticks around and I like it!

Find more amazing blogs

This is a huge goal for me because a lot of the blogs I used to socialize with have dropped off the radar which is really sad to see (is it just me or do you think bloggers have disappeared since the WordPress app changed into Jetpack? 🤔). Anyway I’d just really like to make some more blogging friends and find like-minded peeps here so if you’re reading this and would like to become best blogging buds, drop a hello in the comments! 🤣

Be more present in the blogging community

I really want to set time aside to enjoy blogs more because I don’t do that nearly as much as I’d like to these days. The blogosphere is such a fun place to be and there’s always something to read so I’m looking forward to what is to come in the new year!

Use Instagram again

I like to think of using Instagram as an extension of my blog which is why I’m including it as one of my blog goals! I’m thinking of sharing book related content over there like what I’ve gotten from the library as that takes up too much media space here on my blog. I’m actually really excited to get this going!
