What I got from the library! #1

Hi everyone! Welcome back or to my blog in the first place if you’re new here 🥰. How are you doing? Be sure to let me know what you’re up to in the comments below! Today’s blog post is about two recent trips I took to the library! I was so excited to go as its been years since I last went and I had to get my card updated 🤣. I mostly got recipe books as I’ve been in the mood to cook lately and I put sticky notes throughout each cookbook to highlight the recipes I thought were interesting. Sooo let me show you what I got!!

Pinch of Nom

Every page in this book manages to look delicious, it’s crazy!!

The Happy Pear

This book has some really good recipes in it like sweetcorn fritters that I’d like to try!

Cordially Invited by Zoe Sugg

This is the only one that’s not a cookbook but it does feature some recipes! It’s a nice one to flick through and I like how it’s separated into different seasons 🍁.

Eat. Live. Go. By Donal Skehan

I made something from this one!! Moroccan chicken salad and it went down so well with my family and myself!

Save with Jamie

I’d originally gone to the library looking for Jamie Olivers 15 minute meals cookbook but they didn’t have it. Instead I got this one and I didn’t enjoy it very much which led to my next library trip as I wanted to bring it back!

At Mamas Table by Rochelle Humes

I didn’t know Rochelle Humes had a cookbook! It’s mostly family recipes and weening tips but there is a recipe for French toast that I want to try!

Rachel Khoos Kitchen Notebook

This was the first book I picked up that I instantly knew I was going to get as I’ve watched Rachel Khoo on Food Network. Sadly none of the recipes in it caught my eye tho.

The Hairy Bikers Asian Adventure

I love this series on TV and the book is so good!!

Homecooked by Donal Skehan

The recipes in this one don’t intrigue me as much as his other book which is a shame but oh well, you win some, you lose some!

My Little French Kitchen by Rachel Khoo

The recipes in this book are a bit too technical for me but it’s still a nice book to flick through!

And that was that! I’m very happy with my finds and it was really fun to document them here in this little post! Be sure to let me know what you think about the books I chose and if you’re a regular library goer too!

I’ll see you all again soon but until then, stay safe, take care and have a wonderful weekend, buh-bye! ✨️💕Xx
