It's possible until it doesn't happen.
Hi everyone! How have you been lately? π Today’s post is so random I didn’t even see it coming, until you know, it did and I had to see it! π€£ A long way back I used to write about stuff like what I’d do in a zombie apocalypse because it was a good laugh to get lost in and this is almost going full circle in an updated sort of way. I recently ended up reading about new predictions for the apocalypse (which according to google is an event involving destruction or damage on a catastrophic scale incase you didn’t know, for the purpose of this post you’re gonna need to!) and that may or may not have had something to do with the fact that I was looking up time travel and then Nostradamus + Baba Vanga (you know, interesting stuff!). That all played a HUGE part in what I was getting recommended I’ll tell you that much π .
According to news websites, apparently the apocalypse is trending right now on places like TikTok so altho more than ever before a lot of what is getting said about the future is hearsay for a good like or two, I still enjoy reading about what people say is going to happen. It fuels the imagination! Which is good in the daytime but not so much when I’m trying to sleep at night and am going over what’s been said tenfold π.
Now, I signed up to TikTok around a month or so ago but I’m yet to actually do anything on it and the news article was saying that a time traveling TikToker called Kawhi Leonard (otherwise known as thehiddengod1) is putting out there that America will split in half on July 14th, 2 million people will disappear on the 9th of August and creatures called stalkers will be roaming the earth in October. It’s all being thrown around and I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda living for it (not wanting for any of it to happen of course! But it’s like people are pulling the fear of a dystopian novel off a page and into the real world – as if being in a pandemic wasn’t enough of an outer body experience! π But yeah, it’s cool feeling like I’m in a book π«π€£).
Six word lowdown felt more apt than calling my thoughts a six word story because I’m not sure if it is one?? It’s more so a simplictic viewpoint! It being possible until it doesn’t happen goes for anything, even the not so outlandish things in life but I think it’s a funny statement to put towards an apocalypse when that sort of stuff isn’t really as possible! I named it Apocalyptic Thrills because of how people (including myself at the prospect of being in a book, I just can’t help it π) derive a sort of excitement from the suspense of it all π.
I feel like if the USA were to split in half, there would be early signs of it happening and people disappear everyday, definitely not on such a large scale but here’s my take on it!…I reckon it’ll be revealed that a number of people nowhere near as large as 2 million were being stalked (and not by creatures from another planet either altho stalkers are weirdos) and those so called stalkers will get tracked down in October. On another note, the 9th of August is my dad’s birthday so this might be a big hoax by me to get out of gifting the hardest person to shop for on the planet! π€£π
So yeah! I fell down another rabbit hole guys π one I thought I’d clambered up out of ages ago. And Apocalyptic Thrills is not to be confused with Cheap Thrills which is a TUNE if there ever was one ππ½. No hate intended towards the person who is putting this stuff out there (I’m yet to even watch any of their content!), this is a post about being fascinated by the idea of this stuff actually happening and I like the idea of a good conspiracy theory too which this kinda ties in with! π
Thanks for reading my rambles! π₯²π€£ Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below and hmmm let me think of a question!….. π€
In your opinion, is the apocalypse fact or fiction? ππ₯
When I was younger, I remember FULL ON believing the world was going to end and I was too scared to watch that 2009 science fiction movie called 2012 when it got rented for my sister π (we had options and I went for the total opposite when it came to what I chose to rent π€£). The funny thing is tho, when word of that film died down and 2012 came around, I didn’t think about the world ending at all!! I guess real life takes ahold so all that just makes me realize it was all just hype surrounding a movie and that this supposed TikTok trend is a similar thing. Either way, I’m not as scared now (don’t get me wrong you won’t catch me watching any horror movies π I do watch gamers tho!). I’m more so intrigued to see how people who say these things are going to happen will speak their way out of it if nothing comes to fruition π€£.
I think global-warming wise and how we treat the planet has a massive effect on how the earth will and is faring but when it comes to an apocalypse based around monsters and unexplainable events? Well, I’m not so sure! π€¨ Also, if there’s a shred of this information that is tied to climate change and how that can have an impact on earthquakes regarding the prediction about the USA then that would be interesting to know! Is it a hoax or is that just wishful thinking!? π΅βπ«
Sooo, it’s time for me to go! I hope this post made you think, laugh or maybe even both π. I hope you go on to have either a lovely day or a good night’s sleep depending on where you are π€ this might cause a nightmare or two π€£π½. Until we meet again, stay safe, take care and buh-bye! ππXx
Did I ever mentioned that Iβve always been a fan of your writings? π

IF we are about to have an apocalypse in the USA it wonβt be an earthquake that splits us in half. We have already split ourselves in half politically and if we split literally, it will be because we have been nuked by Russia, in my opinion. People will disappear due to fallout, fear and the need to go off grid and learn to live on the land as our ancestors did before. Monsters are real. Look at the serial killers, greedy politicians who put their interests above their constituents and spiders, because anything with more than 6 legs is creepy beyond all measure, so irradiated spiders is my nightmare.
Sorry, my thoughts are way more than 6 words

Sounds like the prediction this TikToker made is one big metaphor for the more realistic things you’re speaking about (and it’s horrible a bomb is more realistic than other crazy stuff, the world is already weird in that way). And I agree about the real monsters in life. I used to be so scared of ghosts (still kind of am I admit π ) and I’d be told it’s the real people you’ve got to worry about, not the ones that are gone which kinda ties in. I hate spiders too! My cousin wants to get a pet tarantula, imagine if it escaped! π°
Thank u for sharing those thoughts! I wouldn’t have drawn comparisons so it was cool to see things another way β¨
