O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree: The Big Reveal! 🤣🎶🎄

Hi elf-ryone! (I’m keeping it simple with the festive opening line in comparison to the autumn one ngl 🙌😂). I hope you’re doing well!! Today’s post almost didn’t happen because there’s been terrible signal all day and in thinking at first that it was just my phone, I restarted and lost loads of things I’d saved to my homepage 🙄😭. I took it a LOT better than I would have ever imagined because I’d partly seen it coming and taken screenshots a couple of days ago, but still!! 😤 I have no idea what was within folders I kept but I’mma just have to move on. Things were made better by going downstairs this morning just as All I Want For Christmas Is You started playing!! 😄 (I was going around reciting over and over in my head that at least Christmas hadn’t abandoned me like everything else seemed to want to this morning. Every cloud as they say!…..”They” say more, but I like to shorten it 🤣).

Anyway, that went way into it more than I’d planned! Today I just wanted to pop on and share a picture of my Christmas tree which went up yesterday…….but that would be too simple (or so I thought before the whole signal fiasco), first I’ll tease with some snippets of it featuring some furry friends before the big reveal! 🎄

Out of the three dogs, Toby loves the camera the most (or maybe he’s just smart enough to tolerate it so he can go off on his merry way a whole lot sooner 🤣). His new Fa La La La Llama jumper had just been put on for the day after he’d been given it last night and he fell fast asleep after the lil photo shoot. All it takes is a small bit of comfort on these cold Winter days and he’s gone off to Dreamland I tell you 🤣💤.
This was taken at the beginning of the day so baby Nina was yet to fully wake up, couldn’t help but take a photo! (I’m giving away a lot of the tree there but oh well 🙄😂).
Bella is the most difficult one to get a photo of because she’s so bloody hyper! I’ll admit she was running by so it was blurry but you gotta take the pics where you can get them these days as she’s all over the house, you’d think there was more than one of her🏃‍♀️😂.

Now that the doggos have had their time to shine, I’m done with a very obvious buildup to the main event 🤣:…..

Et voila! It’s so magical!! ✨ It looks like it’s breathing in on one side but once the branches are flattened out it’ll be grand 🙌😂. Let the festivities commence…and this post end 🙈🤣.

If you celebrate Christmas, have you got your tree up yet? Perhaps you have a different type of tree – I’ve seen some cool tapestry trees that have pompoms instead of baubles 😍. It felt so festive seeing it all come together and it took an AGE to untangle the lights 🤣. It was also nice getting up this morning and seeing it there again!! It sure does brighten up the darker evenings. Anyways, that is all! Hope you’re having a nice day and feeling all kinds of festive 😆🎅🏼. Buh-bye now! 💚❤️

    1. Thank you!! 💚 Yeah and even when they’re not around to do so they’re on the mind as we’re wondering what trouble they’re up to elsewhere so the photo-taking gets put on hold 🤣. Ahhh haha hope it goes up soon for his sake! 😂✨🎄

  4. Your tree is so nice! It’s got character leaning over to one side 😂 If your tree could talk, it would say “lean on me.” I think that’s a song…. Or maybe it would say, “sway.” Is that a song?
    Am I weird for saying that plants can think and feel? Because I think they can. I think they have a conscience. 😌🌲🎄

    1. Thanks!! Haha I like that way of looking at it 🤣🎄. Oh my gosh “lean on me” is a cute one for it! Agreed: I went through a phase of talking to my aloe plant thinking it had a conscience after hearing they were soothing in return and I, if anything found it calming to do and then I kid you not, it died within a week….so yes, they without a doubt feel/listen! 😅🤣

      1. Oh no! I’m sorry that your plant died. I can’t keep plants alive if my life depended on it…. my bamboo plant died on me within a week of bringing it home, if that makes you feel better about your beloved Aloe.🪴

        I no longer buy indoor plants. We have one mini succulent which we got as a promotional freebie last month. I typically wouldn’t keep it because we have an obnoxious cat, but miraculously the cat is indifferent towards the plant 🐈‍⬛ Also, idk how the succulent is still alive. This plant doesn’t get any sunlight. I double checked to make sure it’s a real plant and not a fake one because even I was skeptical about it [still] being alive. 😂🤣 Doesn’t the succulent know that I’m a plant killer and that it’s about to face it’s inevitable fate? Why does it still trust me? This is one stubborn succulent. 😆

      2. Ahhh no that’s so unfair it died in the same week you got it! 😦 Haha your cat sounds so funny 🤣. Oh my god that’s hilarious, maybe it’s defying the odds and wants to prove you wrong! I bet it’ll outlive all of us 😂🙌🌵
