My Merch Wishlist 2020! 🙌🛍️

Hi everyone! What’s the story? 😂 I hope you’re well and having a nice day 💕 or maybe it’s nighttime where you are in which case I won’t be shamefully telling you to go to sleep, you may stay awake solely to read this post 😊 (aren’t I good to you? 😂).

I’ve been meaning to write this for so bloody long. The title kept changing from 2018 to 2019 and now it’s 2020 😵. It’s about time I shared what’s on my merch wish list (I’m hoping to change that to “shopping list” soon when I actually get around to buying the stuff. I think a part of me just wants to wait until my birthday rolls around and I can just ask for it *hint hint* 😌😂. When I first came up with the idea for this post it soon became clear that I’d run out of things to fangirl over and so I put it aside but now I have a LOT of things and I cannot wait to share them with you! Here we go:

Coraline

I’m obsessed with Coraline more than anything else!! 🙌 Others try to take this book/movies place but I’m simply not having it 😂. I don’t have the vocabulary to explain how I feel about it. Simply put, it’s a work of art ✨. It has just stayed with me since I read/watched it when I was little and I love getting lost in that world (Laika are fantastic!). I am a huge fan of Neil Gaiman and am forever re-reading the book trying to put myself in Coraline’s place (as you do! Because we all want to be tormented by the other-mother right? 😅 I just want some adventure in my life 😂).

I’m about to hit purchase on a load of Coraline things over on the Laika store like notebooks and a few other things but I can’t decide if the figurines are worth it 🤔 (I probably sound like a terrible person to my fellow Coraline fans even questioning it but €35 for 4 figurines is high no?). Like, they’re just going to sit on my desk but I can’t seem to make this decision so the whole things just been put on pause 🙄😂

Love Island

I’m not gonna let the fact that I didn’t enjoy the last season deter me from wishing for Love Island merchandise. I want a suitcase, a robe and a washbag, the works! 😂 Well actually I’m not really going to town on it because I don’t want a bottle. I used to really want one with that cute name personalization but I’m not too bothered now….it may have something to do with the fact that my bottle had loads of little bugs in it and you just can’t unsee that kind of thing 🤢 Don’t ya just love summer!? 😂

Welcome to Night Vale

I shared this one in my favourite podcasts post! It’s currently a maybe as I stopped listening to Welcome to Night Vale when Covid-19 set in as it all seemed too real and I didn’t want to accidentally make any of it come to fruition and further tarnish the year 2020 😬😂. Seriously though, I love the whole concept behind Night Vale and the creepy vibe it gives off as it reminds me of Twin Peaks (which isn’t on this list because I got the merch I wanted from them the last time in this haul! 🤣 Dreams do come true 😂). There are a couple of Night Vale t-shirts that I really like here!

Song of the Sea

This comes close to Coraline on the love scale for me ✨ I am captivated by the streets of Dublin scene and it just feels so homely + calming to me in general. On this site I want an art book, a pack of cards and a picture book as then I could flick through them and get the feels of the movie when I’m not watching it 😍. Random question, has anyone seen The Secret of Kell’s before? I’ve heard it’s similar but am yet to watch it and the only way I can think of doing that is by purchasing the DVD but I’m not gonna do that unless I’m told it’s worth it! So I would appreciate your thoughts 💫

Real Housewives of New York

I mentioned on my what I did mindfully on Monday post that my favourite Real Housewives at the moment is New York and I recently discovered that the Bravo site have a load of merch and I need it in my life!! Not all of it though, I’ll settle for the good stuff, I’m not greedy 😂. Luanne has her own site of stuff and every now and then I’ll pop onto Bethany’s store but I think I’m more likely to order from the Bravo shop as then I can make the order worthwhile seeing as it’s traveling all that way to get to me 😇 Gotta make that postage price count! 😂

Anne with an E

It won’t let me leave an image for Anne with an E (and that’s not a ploy to get you to head on over to the sight to check out all of the wonderful stuff yourself 😏😂). I discovered it last month and to say that I love it is an understatement! I want to get it on DVD too but they don’t seem to be sold in many places and a lot of the ones that are can’t be viewed in the region 😕.

Anywho, back to merch chat! There’s some nice Anne with an E stuff over on the official shop and I like the look of the Romantical zipper case! There’s also a sewing kit with all of the bits and pieces in a jar but it’s not worth the price it’s going for so I’m thinking that I might have a go at making one in the future or at the very least pop it onto my to do list as that makes me feel like I’ve achieved something 🤷😂

We’ll leave it there or else I’ll just end up looking for MORE things to buy and that could get dangerous 😂 Thank YOU for reading! What was the last merch you got?
