Hello ghouls and boo’s (some fine opening line recycling from last year going on there 👍😂). Today I’m going to be doing a this or that tag for Halloween! (I know that Halloween was the day before yesterday but I’m in the mood for this now so I’m dragging you lot down with me 😂).
The last time I did one of these tags was for Summer here and I thought I’d incorporate the Autumn edition into this post as well! 🍁 We’re gonna get right into it as I’m very excited about answering these questions! Let the spooky vibes commence 👻
Creepy dolls or murderous clowns
I hate clowns with a passion but since recently conquering that (at a experience in a haunted house that I really enjoyed and will be writing about soon on my October favourites!) I think I’d go with them instead of a creepy doll as even just the mention of them sends a chill down my spine 😓 I want to watch IT again for some reason (I know it will scare me into sleepless nights again 😂) but I doubt anything will come from me wanting to as I won’t risk taking that step of welcoming Pennywise back into my life! 🤡
Pumpkin pie or pumpkin seeds
Definitely pumpkin pie! It’s more filling and wholesome as opposed to a snack and that’s always what I go for with food (it’s all or nothing with me 😂).
Haunting or home invasion
Preferably neither 😨 when I think of home invasion I imagine a load of spooky beings materializing in my home and with a haunting I picture objects being thrown around. None of the two are even vaguely compelling but if I had to choose I’d go with a home invasion as I’d like to think that the visitors wouldn’t be invisible and be able to see what they plan on doing next!
Big cozy sweaters or big cozy scarves
Sweaters! They’re all I’m wearing lately and I want (no I NEED) to get more 😂
Scary costumes or funny costumes
Scary 👻 Because it’s not everyday it’s acceptable to freak people out so I say don’t waste that opportunity! 😂
Fairy lights or candles
Candles! As much as I love fairy lights and have a lil collection going on I love lounging back in the cold evenings with a candle going (this is rare though as we can never find a lighter in our house! 🙄😂).
October or November
November is my Birthmonth (the 9th is the big day as I’m turning 21, mark your calendars! 😂) so I have no choice but to go with that! As soon as it’s over (I know, I know it’s a terrible thing to think about 😂) we can then get into the mood for Christmas in the house! 🎄
Skeletons or zombies
Now that I think about it I never really think about skeletons despite having one 😵😂 so zombies it is! My last post was all about what I’d do in a zombie apocalypse and I’d love if you could give it a read! 👀
Caramel apples or s’mores
I would normally say caramel apples but my jaw has been playing up so I can’t eat them (or much of anything but soup) at the moment 😟 I went to the dentist yesterday and have been given tablets that helped the pain the last time my TMJ flared up so hopefully they help again 🙌
Vampire or werewolf
Vampire!! I wish there was a vampire emoji but until then, this one will have to do 👹
Carve a pumpkin or jump in a leaf pile
I carved a pumpkin a few days ago and it was sooo much fun but I have to go with jumping in a leaf pile (if it was a HUGE pile of leaves as I want a soft landing and not a trip to A&E though 🤕😂). I can’t remember the last time I jumped in a pile of leaves 🤔 the wind always seems to blow them away before I get the chance 😂
Bottle feed a baby zombie or walk alone in a dark forest
Obviously bottle feed a baby zombie! They might be too young to understand that they’re cannibals and I could get them into vegetables 🥕😂
Bats or black cats
Black cats as although some may consider them unlucky they’re all we’ve ever had and we’re still standing 🎶😂
Wearing an amazing but uncomfortable costume or a rubbish but comfy costume?
What if it’s so rubbish it’s good?? I’d go with rubbish but comfortable as I wouldn’t be able to enjoy myself otherwise and at the end of the day it would probably end up being a mess anyway 🤷😂
Party night or movie night
Movie night coz that always involves popcorn 🍿and not necessarily scary movies either as I can’t handle them 😂
Last one alive or first one to die
First one to die as I wouldn’t see it coming by watching everyone else go before me 😏😂
Pumpkin spice or hot chocolate
I tried a combination of the two with Costa’s pumpkin spice hot chocolate and didn’t like it because of the spice so I’m kicking that to the curb and sticking to a good old mug of hot chocolate! (Question for you: what is your favourite brand of hot chocolate? Mine is Insomnia’s one 🤤).
Trick or treat
I wouldn’t willingly put myself at risk of receiving a trick 😂 Treat all the way! 🍬
